Always great to see an entire team getting completely wrecked by her crazy 'boom" skill. Wish I always could see the 'WTF just happened here?-face' of the opponent players... ;) Amira is a great hero, and she has only 1 skin for now. Hope she will get some new skin(s) soon. Really a big fan of the Celeste-Amira-Face-Phobos combo, they can wreck way stronger mage teams with ease. Need to test the Lian-Amira combo a bit more, probably might need some manual playing to be most effective. Anyway... learned some new things about Amira. Thx for the great explanation!!!

Yes, Amira and Liam together is a very good combination. Liam's green skill freezes the enemy, while Amira's cursed gold operates its magic.

Amazing content as usual mate. I got a question: does Nebula buff modify also Celeste healing? Since the healing scales with her attack it should do, but maybe it's calculated at the beginning of the battle

Thank you very much 🙂👍 yes, Nebula increases her healing. The Hot (healing over time) is calculated when it's casted for the whole duration. So if she casts it without buff, it won't increase anymore. But also in the other way around. I'm only not sure, but I would expect, two healing buffs should stack.

I don't like the hydra 😅 you do less damage with higher upgraded heroes on lower heads. I show sometimes hydra fights for really great teams (Xesha, Daredevil for example) and in the next video too 🙂 but yes, I will think about it for you 😉

But I do think it is also the beauty of it, it shows the "sweet spot" does exist in the game. I'm so excited for the next video too (wondering what it will be about). Thank you for considering. Thank you for your nice comment 🙂 many weird combinations can work. It depends always on the opponent team. Amira has many def oriented skills and Lars benefits by it too. So it helps for example against Cleppy and perhaps weaker jorgens. But at the same way you open the door for Sebastian combos. And Amira is very weak like Lars. So you lose the bigger HP pool and a better chance (if you are playing with Astaroth) to resurrect him. And both are limited by magic defense buff 😉

Here are my GA teams that I'm currently using, in order: Asta-Satori-Celes-Jorgn-Amira Andy-Dante-ksj Cleavr-Morrgn-Xsha-Dorin-Lilth First of all, I always try to use a hero in all my teams. Do you think it would be better to use Iris, Cornelius or Phobos instead of Jorgen in my first team? Or does it make more sense to go with Jorgen? Say what? Or is there another hero you can recommend? Thanks for the great videos. Finally, how would you protect Amira against Phobos?

Thanks at first 🙂 I prefer to split amira from satori. They can work together but they have different gameplays. If you have 2 mystics teams then it's harder for your opponent to beat them because they have the same counters. Jorgen is a very great hero. He fits everywhere but with chaotics he becomes often to a real damagedealer but lilith loads the opponent jorgen which helps to block your jorgen/xesha early. If you would use 2 mystics and 1 chaotic line, it would be much harder to beat you. Lian works generally well against Phobos but it forces the opponent often to use Corvus who kills your Lian 😅 So each advantage has it's disadvantage

You have any more recommendations for counters to a mage team I'm having a real rough time with other varieties I don't have a very good Phobos or Iris.... But photos is on his way up because of this video is he the key once I get him to 60 to 70k... I feel like nebula really only helps with Satori but I'm having a real tough time taking out the twins with Amira... Especially when the twins put a faceless in the back

For twins I use generally Cleaver Peppy with Jorgen Faceless Martha. Works very well against most variations. If Lars is on Pos4 then Face on Pos3 will interrupt Lars stun (-1 on attack). Jorgen Faceless are great against nearly all mage teams. You have only to watch at your middle/backline dmg. To much dmg there then you won't have the advantage to use jorgens energy block at first. Luther helps to force Krista to use needles in the wrong direction. This means also no additional water marks which is important to survive lars lighting bolt (dmg x3). If you have a Daredevil combo, it's also sometimes possible vs twins but always luck dependent. For Satori Celeste teams I use a low cornelius with xesha (for the 32k buff) and morrigan as tank for the early AP buff. I hope this helps a little 😅

Yes, the MA increases the amount of gold which means more potential damage. The damage and the amount are proportional. So the MA buffs when applied and the penetration when explodes

Yes, magic defense is important to resist her gold explosion. That's why undeads are very good incl phobos. He is with 35k already very useful because of the energy stealing + burning. If you need the MD just max his arteweapon. A little bit life helps to survive. If I remeber right your 60k phobos should already be fine, not a beast but useful 😉

Ah, no that won't work. You need as much magic attack for her ult (=more gold) and then max magic penetration for the explosion and max dmg reduce for the time between (your MD idea could help here against magic teams )😅 I think we have some buggy behavior with the gold but more in the direction it's too big or the burry out doesn't count all damage properly. I wanted to create a simulation but it's many many work and probably hard to have same results because of so many weird behavior 🤣

Addition: the damage at the gold is before the mitigation. So MD doesn't help

So the weekend is come and gone I took the plunge I bought Lars super skin seems like a blessing and a curse at the same time you have any ideas on how to deal with people using Phobos against my Lars I'm a little bit at a loss right now I'm still trying to figure it out

With 88k MA is Lars Nr.1 at the list, so it's hard to avoid Phobos. Only chance would be with Nebula. Perhaps with Celeste/Jorgen. Generally the energy steal goes to the hero in front of nebula and the ult to the one behind (dmg depending). If your Celeste get a little bit dmg before the steal happens then she will be in her white form with the chance of immunity.

My friends combo works even after his 88k upgrade against undead with phobos. He uses Lilith. She sacrifices twice her life which means addition 62k MA + her own 36k. So the first energy steal goes to her

Event is over Amira superskin is maxxed .... Do you have any initial thoughts about Amira? I can say I'm very pleased with this skin... Only problem is with Tristan but it's a trade off for the ability to attack an even greater amounts of teams you couldn't before it has made fights that were very tough and not to predictable but now much better will still use as an attack team hero only because it takes her and a unique team make up to win the fight she still is a poor defense hero

Amira is definitly a great hero with a new gameplay style. The MP skin is a must have, the superskin is a nice addition. It's always hard to predict Nexters next steps and if it was good or bad decision 🤣 I hate their strategy, so I don't buy those superskins. But it looks like, it's a nice market for them 🤑

@@herowarssuddendeath I think if it was a hero you absolutely used all the time you would totally buy the super skin I have astroth faceless Amira and twins passed on Andvari and Cornelius I would go all in on Corvus and Morigan especially if Corvus get a health super skin... But I appreciate the high cost on the super skins because that means not everybody is going to get them or can get them which makes them more special to the people that put forth the effort and cash to get them because our efforts aren't going to be wasted with everybody else having it.. I believe things like that need to be expensive on purpose to separate free to play from the pay to win players I wouldn't necessarily look at that as a bad thing look at it like Nexters is protecting your investment the best way they can.... The same thing is happening with the Titans that's why they introduced Keros

This event was the first better one with 55% sale + event bonuses + 4x emeralds, so absolutly fair 👍 It's okay for me, if people are paying much and they have fun with it. I'm always crying if I buy something 🤣 It's for me less fun 😉 I loved Corvus all the time but with Morrigans rework, they destroyed him. The instant heal was sooo great and this new behavior is not really effective. Morrigans skeletons can't hold anything now, because all skeletons get destroyed sometimes with 1 hit... With Keira Dorian Fafnir he is absolutly trash in defense... I wouldn't call it "investment" but rather an illusion 😉

Amira can counter Faf in some cases [considering the fact that he does no damage at all and cannot dig himself out of the cursed gold pile]. But as you already mentioned in this vid - if Seb is in the opp's pack = problem

They can work well together. If you want to build 3 teams you can split both because they have nearly the same counter. Julius (judge isaac) + sebastian (for amira) are dangerous for this team. Julius cleans the marks and the shields absorb the dmg + increase the def values. So if you have many JJI combos you won't be happy.

No, she is awefully bad against hydras 🤣 the hydra damage is too high for her gold and they are strength based with a lot of life, which means she burns crazy 5% of their energy... so in all categories not good 🙃

I have the Faceless MP skin, but alas not the skin+. Amira's MP is currently at 17930, Faceless MP is at 16620, but he still has to be upgraded a lot. Can Celeste be hepfull to avoid the problem with Tristan? Her MP is at 17510 now, and can also be upgraded further.

@@herowarssuddendeath Celeste already seems to be at max MP with 17510, her book is already maxed. So I will not be able to bring it higher than Amira. Faceless seems to be the only option. Will have to focus on maxing his artifact weapon. Anyone knows the max MP stats of Faceless? On the other hand, I actually don't need Amira to counter TAF. Learned from you Phobos is very handy too to counter them. ;)

The advantage is that you will negate for example medium armor penetration like Artemis. Morrigans buff will help to overcome the penetration.
