Got the new Star Runner Phoenix ship on PS5 today. My son plays on PC and I play on PS5. We both flew into the space station from my freighter. There he sold the Phoenix ship to a dealer and I immediately bought it back from the dealer.

@@Knight-Seeker-Inbra I had seen some folks were having issues, so I didn't use the links provided by HelloGames. I installed the Steam app on my PC, logged into my old account, searched for NMS in the store and claimed it there.

If you have enough nanites you can duplicate any multitool or starship with the expedition, without any glitches.

⁠Hello my dear friend! Great to have you man, love your channel and discord ❤ I was missing the Original Starborn Runner and the infamous Photonix Core tech it exclusively comes with! (The new one come Without it btw…) I finished the Omega redux, took only the photonix core in my Expedition copy ship, an exotic Royal 7, and tried to claim it after the expedition finished on the anomaly… It said you already claimed that ship… Thank god it let me get the runner from the Expedition rewards terminal afterwards! Now i finished the Adrift expedition with my Starborn Runner and was happy to basically clone it (especially the photonix core) and unfortunately it says you already got it or something like that and the option to rebuild it for nanites is grayed out… The Multitool works fine! Next time i take the expedition rewarded ship at the end with me and make sure to install the tech on it. Very strange, because i did that multiple times with the prior 3 expeditions! This way i got nearly the best possible X Modules 3x , Literally duplicates everything.

Ship copying from the expeditions are also not working. Took my sentinel into it and when I finished it to copy it back to the main game, it states it was already copied(when it 100% wasnt.). So basically they're closing the loopholes.

I have a Steam account so I unlocked it. I don't own the Steam version of the game though so that will have to wait. I don't really mind. I already have too many ships and I still have unclaimed ships waiting for me in the Quicksilver kiosk. Need more slots! I like the idea of having a special support frigate you could get that would hold another six ships or something. Maybe it could hold some multi-tool cabinets too so we have a place to go and look at our stuff.

@hero2u1 I was trying your method to get ship parts without scrapping the ship after the update and, like you, it didn't work for me. However, I kept trying, and I'm not sure what combination of key press or menu action happened, but I was able to get two parts and still retain the ship. I've been trying to duplicate what I did with no success, but there is a way that still works that needs to be discovered. I will keep trying and update you if I can successfully do it again.

@@hero2u1 I think I'm close to figuring it out. I thought I had but I wssn't able to successfully duplicate it. I did manage to get 3 successful attempts where I got the parts and retain the ship. It has something to do with Autosave. I followed your method of scrapping the ship for a part, quickly going to the ship menu to select the ship. Here, I think I first went right and then left to the first ship (the golden vector for me), and just clicking, even though the new message popped up. Then I did a reload via the autosave and my original ship was still there and I also had the ship part in my inventory. I managed to do this three times, but there's a step in the process that I haven't identified, which led to failure from the fourth attemp onwards. I will need to record my future attempts and hopefully get a successful attemp so I can replicate the process consistently. But reloading from Autosave is key, and also whatever I did during the menu access. Hope this might help you and anyone to figure out what I'm missing.

Did not get new gold ship. Also, Iron Vulture w/square supercharged slots - had very poor core stats that made it lesser than original in spite of SC slot configuration 😢 310.6 vs. 112.9 DMG potential. Can that be rerolled somehow??

It seems you can also only collect your expedition ship only one time! At least on PlayStation 5… Make sure you choose the right ship

I redeemed my starship on my steam... but wheb I summon it, its not gold... its got the red paint like the expedition ship. I summoned one and then the other a few times to confirm that they were exactly the same colors. The names were what they were supposed to be though.
