Darth Maul having 3 blades in Lego Star Wars 3 is so cool! He is now even more powerful than before! Chewbaccas secret melee also works in The Complete Saga! If I remember correctly there was an achievement for doing it 20/25 times to a stormtrooper!

4:17 Reflecting lightning in Lego SW games first appeared in Lego Star Wars: The Video Game during the first Count Dooku boss fight. The lightning during the boss fight looked very different than in the later games. Reflecting feature was removed from Complete Saga’s version of the fight.

Funny how in LSW III when you dual wield lightsabers in the general grevious level as darth maul, he can use his double bladed lightsaber and one of grevious' at the same time but when you use the red brick "dual lightsabers" as Darth maul his double bladed lightsaber disappears and is left with two red separate lightsabers

Yeah... No. When you activate dual wield cheat, Maul stays with his double saber, not two single sabers. The cheat doesn't work for him and Savage at all.

3:42 another way to see the heads is if you put on the Naboo soldier (guard?) disguise in the hangar, it has an open faced helmet that allows you to see their faces. Only works for the hero class characters though.

I grew up playing all the lego star wars games to death I even had multiple versions like I had the DS version of the complete saga and the wii version so I could play under my covers on my ds all night lol. Now as an adult my favourite has to be the skywalker saga it's just so amazing and detail filled and content filled and even the jokes are the best. It really is the best lego game they've ever made in general tbh

I remember in some of the books that are now legends most jedi had multiple lightsabers and were apt at using multiple by the time they were a knight or master in a lot of cases. So Ayla having two lightsabers feels fitting for some reason. I know in a few canon noveks as well they explain the multiple lightsaber thing more in the clone wars because they fought so much they could just pump them out (over simplifying a bit here.)

You can see hero class faces if you dress them as royal guards on Naboo right at the hanger. That way you can see BB and Bo Katan faces better. 😊 Or for example Rex as well.

fun fact: darth vader would never use more than one lightsaber normally (he only did once if I remember correctly) by the way, I also bugged asajj ventress once when I was a kid and maded her stay with only 1 lightsaber (don't ask me how I did it, I don't remember)

i once found out that you could completely change the color of the lightsabers the jedi or sith had. you only had to have the lightsaber of ventress in your hand, but when she is about to retrieve it from you, you gotta throw her lightsaber at something at the last possible second. That way she takes your lightsaber and by the time the animation is done her lightsaber will be in your hand leaving her with two different lightsabers and you with hers. This is still not how you get to keep hers since the character somehow knows the lightsaber she took is not hers so she'll try to take hers from you again. Here's the trick though, if you activate the red brick that lets you dual wield lightsabers as you are only holding her lightsaber the game will copy her lightsaber and not yours... meaning you now can have 2 red sabers that have ventress's model. Even then she'll take away one of the two and ditch yours. So now she is back to her 2 lightsabers, but remember... you had a copy of her lightsaber and she only took one so you still have a lightsaber that looks exactly like hers and is also red... meaning if you hit pause again and then unpause without deactivating the brick, the game will give you another lightsaber that is just like hers. So you can fight her with both of her lightsabers as she has both of them at the same time and this gives you 2 red lightsabers as a jedi without hacks or anything. I always liked doing this in my games. Sadly the lightsabers reset every cut and there's a point where you can't change them anymore cause you stop picking up her lightsaber to fight her. Still a cool detail

If i remember correctly Aayla Secura only had two Lightsabers in the concept work for Star Wars Episode 3. Batllefront 2 (the 2005 edition) was made on a very tight schedule with only a hand full of references from Revenge of the Sith given to the team. One of them being Aayla. They scrapped the idea with the two Lightsabers as the production of the movie went on.

4:07 I don't think the helmet is "Damaged", it looks a little goofy because it's probably a LOD (Level of Detail) which is a technique used in games where you make less detailed versions of models to save computer resources. I'm pretty sure gibs and detachable pieces are rendered with a low polygon count for optimization purposes.

Once had a weird glitch that happened when my brother and I were fighting Ventress in Clone Wars. I did the normal thing of stealing one of her lightsabers, however, instead of targeting me to get it back she stole my brother’s lightsaber instead. I had a red and a blue lightsaber, AI Ventress had a red and a blue lightsaber, my brother had nothing. Sadly it went back to normal after we reached the next load zone.

in the skywalker saga the hero class can wear disguises and if you go too theed the hangar has helmets that do not cover the face so that is another way to see faces. this only works for heroes

i knew about most of these i just don't understand why they seem to refuse to let you fly around in the lego star wars games, like they have characters and species that can fly so why not let us fly around the map instead of hovering. Like the early games make sense but by the time the force awakens released they had made lego games where you could so...what was the issue? Plus you can't even really use the argument that the game didn't have flying characters because they had dlc.
