For beginners watching this and still learning i think another version of this video or other games videos would be great with commentary. Kind of a play by play of what they're doing with their figures and what abilities were used or combined. It would definitely help alot of ppl understand combinations and give a bit of a better understanding of the game imo.

Exaclty I've been trying to search for videos that show that off like explain in clear concise way of speaking initaitng your moves and what you are doing. It's like playing a game of magic and initiating your moves so both players know what ia going on and you the viewer can understand easier.

Anybody got any good links like everyone is referring to above? Just discovered this game today and am interested in learned but a full play-by-play video would help understand easier. Thanks in advance!

@espy8937 unfortunately no game has done what I've described. I'd like to break down some gameplay but I'm mo good at this editing and what not lol

Patrick Frazer got that smooth Jazz voice. I noticed that he says spiderman is holding the elevated terrain. He wouldn't have been able to be carried right?
@HeroclixHeadquarters11 ай бұрын
I'm not sure of exactly when you mean, but yeah, normally you can't carry someone carrying terrain.

I think it would be cool of you went over the teams before the gameplay and had some commontary. Glad this gets recorded though

Who won? I just couldn't follow the gane with all those game mechanics, cards, tokens and figures from the sideline 🤔😉🤓

Patrick Frazer won, he's the guy on the left.

Used to enjoy this game back in the day, but don't remember a "sideboard" being a thing back then. On first impression, not a fan of the mechanic.

I was part of the competitive game play up until some 8 years ago. In fact I was an organizer and even judge. But I just didn’t like the game this way, it changed how I played the game. My teams were cheese and loaded with mechanics upon mechanics. And players didn’t really socialize, it was all about the meta game. Some players were down right unfriendly and even mean to other players. These days I just play with friends, and we tend to play more thematically. This game reminded me of this, and I still never want to play like this again 🤔🤓
@Anthony510ish Жыл бұрын
totally in the same camp, sort of reminds me of what they did with warhammer in 9th edition, just adding more and more stuff to bloat the game. i have nothing against competitive play, but i think a lot of these game designers cater to the competitive focused players too much resulting in a lot of "broken" meta pieces and crazy mechanic combos

Same here. I liked running theme teams, all X-Men or all Avengers, or one of the other keywords. I also would rather play for fun than just to win, and everyone started just playing to win and destroy the person they played against.

Observation: a disproportionate number of Heroclix players wear glasses. Is it because trying to read those tiny numbers on the dials has worsened their vision over time? Or is it because they've discovered it's a lot easier to do so with glasses on? It certainly can't just be a huge coincidence.
