Have just come back to this video for some inspiration for my Dale Force I just got My Brand, Bard and 3 Packs of The Knights Of Dale Today can’t wait to paint t them up and yours have given me a lot of inspiration for mine they look great mate 👌

How does FW manage such clean sculpts but GWs resin is a nightmare

From what I know, it’s purely down to the type of resin used. It’s a shame I know, but to be fair since they moved away from the Finecast recipe and changed it, it has been better :) I got a load of Gundabad Orc and Lake-Town Militia and they’re perfect! :D

Really enjoyed this - great to see them close up in so much detail and your paint jobs looks great. I've resisted picking them up so far, I've got 20 plastic Dale Warriors assembled and undercoated - I'm gonna do them first and then treat myself to the new Heroes and Knights as a reward when I get those done :-) - Damian

Oh wow, the paint job is just amazing. Would like to try and achieve a similar level and wish there was a guide. Would you by any chance be able to say which colours you used?

I’m gonna be honest, I can’t remember which ones I used 😅 which sucks because I’ve now got a full unpainted Dale army 🤦‍♂️

@@PaintsOnA4Up No worries! I'm just excited for this project, combining the brown leather with the gold, it's something new. Then the big question on the capes is on whether to give the warriors of dale a distinct colour scheme. Good luck with yours! 😉

@@indodan03 it’s going to be a base of Mephiston red, the browns will be Mournfang and the gold will be Retrabutor armour. As for highlight and what not, that’s where I’m gonna have to start colour checking while painting. I really should keep a notebook for all my stuff 🤦‍♂️😂 maybe I’ll start one with this army!
