Beautiful presentation.... I will suggest that, Akan be made the national language, but people should be taught in their local dialect and take exams in their local dialect. For example, let's say akan is chosen as the national language, those of us from the north ( bolga) should be taught in fafra and Akan will be made compulsive We learn like how French is made compulsive language in our schools today. Then during exams, we write our exams in Fafra n then write Akan in Akan . This will help us to communicate freely everywhere while I still have a firm grip on my mother tongue which is the Fafra. How do you create a new language from all our languages from our country while we already have a language? That will be extremely difficult . If you're and eve , all the ewe in the ewe land must be thought in the eve land and same must done in the Ga land,twi land and frafra land and so on and so forth. But that should not prevent us not to lean other languages In our land.
