Hushe is the last human settlement in the northernmost part of Pakistan; in the Ghanche district of Gilgit Baltistan. Reaching there is tough but life in the beautiful village of Hushe is still organic. This video is about an incident that occurred while we were on the way to Hushe, which has practically shown us the strength and efforts of human beings can clear all the obstacles in our lives. No matter how big, it's the human will and efforts that can over every obstacle in our lives.
We were traveling in a comfortable Parado SUV car, on a rough jeep track. After crossing the Khanday village, while we were traveling along the Hushe River and Haldi Cones; suddenly we were stopped by the fallen rocks due to a landslide. Giant rocks blocked the road and left no space for vehicle crossing. Believing that the machinery to clear these rocks might not be possible to reach there before the next day, we decided to abound our journey to Hushe. We were just walking there in dismay, and while our driver was turning the vehicle back, we saw six (6) men coming from the Hushe side. We greeted them as a passerby, which is a tradition in the northern areas of Pakistan. This 6 men team stopped and asked us to wait and they will clear the road manually. Even then we were in doubt how these few people can even move those heavy rocks that might be weighing over tons. We stopped there in our curiosity to see what they can do. The rest of the efforts they made can be seen in the video. These men were employed to keep this road open but I really salute them to execute their job they don't need any machinery or outside help, they believe in their own efforts and keep this road clear.
In the last, I will again say "Team Hushe Road Kohlee Zindabad"
