Been receiving a few comments telling me "Amon was not the leader of the Xel'naga." I know. This was due to a bit of bad communication on my part tbh. What I meant was that Amon lead the Xel'naga that discovered the Zerg. NOT that he was the leader of the entire race, sorry for any confusion! I would annotate that but the ability to add annotations in KZbin was removed some time ago, sorry! :S

I think Abathur also has microscopic vision, because he was able to analyze Kerrigans DNA just by locking at her.And he also said in one of starcraft 2 cinematics that he locks at flesh and sees the DNA strands and sequences.

Gabeslogic why did she depart and where did she go
Ummmm got a few problems with this video (only at the start though!) Amon wasn't the leader of the Xel'naga, he went rogue with 1 other Xel'Naga (Narud/Duran) and wanted to break the cycle and leave the universe to be under his control/domination, but needed to create the perfect host body. The Purity of Essence is what made the Zerg very unique and able to evolve rapidly, and Amon's gift to them was the Overmind/Hive-mind mentality. Larger, more advanced Primal Zerg were aware that this was a bad thing as they had cognitive reasoning, unlike the zerg who were weak/unevolved and sided with Amon as they could feel his raw power. The image used to describe the Primal Zerg is the most powerful Primal to exist and was present when Amon first corrupted the Zerg. Most of the information past 3:20 seems to be correct, but the first few minutes leading up to Abathur isn't 100% right. I'll leave the conclusion to Kerrigan for those who play Legacy of the Void to find out.

+ZXMFG Cheers for this, was mainly trying to skim that as much as I possibly could, though only came to SC during the second game. NEED to find time to play the first all the way through. Kerrigan's ending is clear. In the final expansion, she consumed a xelnaga and became one. She then killed amon, and used her power to transform into a human again.
@philipjkean8 жыл бұрын
+TomTheGreatIsHere True Kerrigan became a Xel'Naga and killed Amon but she only appeared to Raynor as a human after a lengthy hiatus to reunite with him. We actually have no idea if she was still Xel'Naga OR assuming she did became human.. what became of her incredible power? SC3 confirmed!

That entire scene is very dream-like in every way. This is confusing though as we're not given an answer to whether it's just a dream either Sarah or Jim is having, she projecting this into his head or whatever it possibly could be. It's a very interesting and beautiful moment and I really hope we'll be gettin' that answer sometime in the future!

As far as I know, the Xel'Naga (the good ones) created the primal zerg, but after the fiasco with the protoss (interfering with their evolution) they decided to leave the zerg alone, satisfied with their purity of essence... A long time after the Xel'Naga retreated to their dimension Amon found them and bound them to the Overmind, the other Xel'Naga learned about that and tried to stop him being butchered in the process (again, the protoss also did that to their creators)... And the rest of the story you told is incredibly accurate :D (except maybe Kerrigan's fate, that seemed pretty clear to me but I see your point) I'm obsessed with your voice btw

There are a couple of things I dont get : if the Xel'naga that attacked Zeraus to stop Amon were "god-like" then how did the zerg manage to kill them all? And if the Zerg consumed the Xel'naga they should have gained some of there vast power not just information By the way James do you enjoy Starcraft lore as much as wow even if its smaller and complete??
@LoreoftheCards8 жыл бұрын
+Vlad the Impaler Yeah I can see the confusion :). While the Xel'naga are god-like they are still very much mortal. They have often been perceived as gods by the other races but they actually aren't. There were just literally THAT many zerg, you kill one, three step in to take their place, their numbers often seem unending (hence the popular "zerging" term for rush tactics). This was only a group of Xel'naga, not the entire race too. How the absorbtion works in the swarm I'm 100% sure, perhaps it is spread over all Zerg, gaining a little of the power so it gets spread thin. Or it was focused on the Overmind, who too was massively powerful and took great sacrifice to defeat. I generally enjoy WoW more due to it being well fleshed out, despite all its loopholes. There were parts of SC lore I think are great (some real stand out characters in the saga) and some I'm not a great fan of... Don't ask Chard about SCII's lore, he was not a fan :P
@quban2348 жыл бұрын
+Six Gamers *their bodies are still very much mortal. The just can't go back to this universe.
@vladtheimpaler95778 жыл бұрын
+Six Gamers James I think I found out the answer to my own question. The XeLNaga are born within the Void,a dark dimension that transcends reality,and there souls are anchored to it(just like demons in the twisting nether in WoW).The Xelnaga are unable to leave this place so they create a physical form in the real world and transfer there consciousness in it.When there bodies are destroyed there souls return to the void.Those artificial forms have only a fraction of their power and do not contain their essence.So that explains why the Zerg were able to defeat the Xelnaga on Zeraus, because those Xelnaga were nowhere near the power of the actual ones , and the zerg were unable to consume their essence because their host bodies did not contain their essence , but they did contain their consciousness so the zerg were able to gain their knowledge of the protoss.

12:30 That's inaccurate Think about it, do you need to survive -100 and below when you're in the vacuum of space? The extreme cold resistance is only needed in places with really cold air, liquid or solid cause that's where you actually freeze and feel cold. In a vacuum the only way to lose heat is through radiation, which is a much slower process than conduction.
@hisokamorow67095 жыл бұрын
