Heroes - Peter Petrelli Tribute - Remember the Name

A tribute video for Peter Petrelli from Heroes that I made about a year and a half ago, but it was taken down every time I tried to upload it. Hopefully it sticks this time.
I tried to show every ability Peter had used (at the time) at least once.

Peter was an amazing character, he had unusual powers and he was an unusual person as well. I liked him soo much in the first season, he crave to be special, he wondered if there’s been more to him and always trust his instincs. He was selfless and emotional, he wasn’t like any typical main character. Then they just took his power, i know they made him too strong but if they could work on his character other than just making him become nobody again, the show wouldn’t have gone downhill.

This is a nice tribute to Peter Petrelli. I believe that peter with his potent power replicating abilities was the strongest evolved human before his father absorbed all his supernatural powers. I know sylar has taken on several powers himself and thanks to his intuitive aptitude he understands how to use the full potential of his abilities but I still believe that peter was far more powerful than sylar because I feel that strength is great in quantity not quality because we all know that peter possessed way more powers and abilities than sylar, so therefore peter was the most powerful.

KI3R4N they messed up skylars ability, he collected Nathan's ability for no reason, just fighting him, he got shape shifting from the guy from just looking at him, and then can empathically get abilities apparently, the writers messed it up.

​@@UltraDude2000 thats not messed up. Thats how its supposed to happen. Peter & sylar have the same ability but each only consciously unlocked half of it, opposite halves. When sylar first meets peter, he says “you’re like me. Lets see how that works!” & tries to cut into peter but he had regen at the moment. Peter is more empathic & based on love so he got the more empathic side of the mimic skill naturally. Sylar is based on cold hard logic, much like a vulcan, so he connected better with the hunger side of the ability. He teaches that hunger side to peter when he has his son in the hopes to save his son. Sylar always knew he could be empathic but doesnt care. He explains this later. He says quite coldly that he can do it just like peter but he kills because he likes to kill. Lydia tried to bring out the more empathic side of the mimicry & almost got herself killed by him! Fortunately he was preoccupied with other stuff...not sex at that moment...& anyway, he picks up lydias power by have sex with her in a different scene just by using his mimicry the way peter does. But it is the same deadly power in both. They just need to learn both sides of it.

this show is low key probably the biggest tragedy to happen in the tv show buisenuiss . don't take the the wing way , I loved it to death . it had so much potential, with a unique story plot. the character were also unbelievable unique and. well developed. acting was always great . its just such a shame it went in the wrong direction . gurauntee it would I have th he same iconosism as the show Lost or walking dead of they played their cards right .

Honestly, though most people don't believe, there are some people that can do some of the abilities that these actors are performing in reality. You can do them yourself if you wanted. Takes practice, patients, confidence and perseverance.

Peter losing his power to his father was the most idiotic thing they ever did and made zero sense. and here is why. his father needed to touch someone to take their power. Peter only needed to be within say, 100 yards of someone and he would automatically get their power. thereby Peter's powers are stronger than his fathers. since they were in the same room, peter should have absorbed his dad's power by being in the room, and thereby cancelling out his father taking his power. albeit, just the series ended, it did almost seem as if peter was about to learn to retain 2 powers at a time. and I believe if the series had kept going he eventually would have done so.still a great show though.

For those who saw all episodes: Two Points: Why did they make sylar take clairs ability? it made the show so much less suspenseful. Especially when they kill sylar but he moved the Achilles heel, so he is basically COMPLETLY indestructible. Now he definatly can't die, although they wouldve killed him like over 100 times, couldn't they have just made it so that people were almost about to kill him but they missed every time, it would be much more suspenfull, but now you know the main antagonist cant die? Wtf? S.C.Johnny Sylars ability was so weird, I think his ability was a combination of empathic mimicry and intuitive aptitude, or maybe he was born with empathic mimicry and absorbed his dad's intuitive aptitude when he was a kid and got the hunger. According to the wiki Sylar does have flight, which we see him flying after simply fighting Peter and Nathan, so basically he absorbed abilities from being near them, so why did he have to cut Clair's head open? He didn't, I guess? The writers were confused

Season 1: excellent Season 2: not as good as the original but still a good continuation. Season 3: generally a mixed bag. For instance I loved all the new characters such as Arthur, Knox, Flint, etc. and the stories were great too. However I absolutely hated that lie about sylar being Angela and Arthur's son. It was stupid as we all knew that wasn't true. I also didn't like how we didn't get more meredith and claire scenes Season 4: was just plain awful. Didn't like the carnival at all
