Very impressive! I have designed and worked with Mobile Command Posts over the past 20+ years and I can honestly say the Incident Management Unit 18 is everything it needs to be. Captain Caschera knows exactly what he's doing. He explained all of the technology exactly right. And, even better proof that he knows his stuff is that he knows that a restroom should never be onboard that truck for all of the reasons he stated. He's the voice of experience on every level. Well done! If I lived in that area, I'd be coming over to volunteer.

What a blessing to come across this channel. So cool. I volunteered for 4 years while in college. Great experiences, and free education.

I’m retired out of active fire service and strictly work for our county FMO/OEM. I would definitely volunteer to work in the EOC and the Incident Management vehicle. This vehicle is awesome. Great job.

YES I work as an Advisor for a valley Regional Fire 😊 we have TWO mid 2000 E-450 Retired Aid rigs as Rehab units. One donation and one that has all services done by FD in Cadets main response area. The Cadets work with MSO or Paramedic units called to big events. Help the Paramedic with BP vitals of FF on monitoring their bodies. The AC works on both rigs. We also have a F-450 quick attack brush rig and my favorite is 1500 gallon ( TENDER) or Tanker. This has been Called out by state DNR for wild land FF I maintain and drive the tanker and have kept it at my home during OFF season I have room next to my 1971 SeaGrave engine ( 750 Gallon tank) that is my baby restoration rig project. She runs fine. I have room next to my house if the valley Regional doesn't have a place to store her. Anyway I drive the tanker for training for Cadets to get Wildland Certified. Because I own an older Detroit Diesel. I am very understanding of the tanker even if it is much newer. The big difference is my 71 has a manual transmission, the Tanker has an Allison transmission. With a newer DD engine. 😊

As a volunteer firefighter myself, I can understand there is a problem with the truck. And bystanders yelling, you are not helping the case. However, not everyone needs to focus on the truck. Minus, who I assume is the chief climbing the ladder to help, it took practically the entire video before someone else went up the ladder. If the first engine is broke, just leave it and work off the next due, regardless if you have to drag a line from what looked to be 2 houses away. Not getting water on the fire can spread it to others.
