It’s not the firehouse that makes the fire department, it’s the firefighters. Great pride in their department.

Mike , your channel has evolved a bit over the last few months and that’s great . But I gotta say your bread and butter has always been the Station Cribs and Rigs …. Love them. Hope you keep those type of videos going 👍

I appreciate that. We have not forgotten that fact and will continue to bring more. We just wanted to also show some other sides too. Plus I personally have picked up a lot of the work. This whole trip to Michigan and Ohio was done solo. I have a lot to learn. Thanks for all the support !!

My local volunteer department has a beast like that. dual rear axles, ginormous tank, ladder and porta tank racks, rescue gear- AND it carries a ladder truck compliment of ground ladders. It's referred to as "the quad" We're very rural, not much of a town- that's the Village Department, we cover the town around it. They also have a Pierce 75' quint, a Pierce Saber engine at station 2 (currently being replaced), and the newest unit: A Darley mini pumper/brush rig. Kind of amazing, what Darley was able to do with this- 4 door 5 person cab, 1500gpm pump with CAFS and pump n roll. Front bumper remote turret and spray bars. 500 gal, tank the works. In addition to lots and lots of farms and woods, there is also a large 400 unit higher end mobile home park. (and a smaller not-so-nice one, too) Full of large mature trees, etc. it is hydranted. This unit just makes it FAR easier to get around in these parks- compared to the quad. Thus it is first due on structure fires, EMS calls, CO, etc in the parks.

@@pyroman6000 What platform is your mini pumper? F-550?
@pyroman60005 ай бұрын
@@ml9867 i belive so. Im not a member, my buddy is, so i dont know all the particulars. It IS a heavy duty commercial Ford chassis, though. Decent amount of compartmentation, but most of the "stuff" is on the quad and quint. This is for attack, brush/field fires, and EMS. Would make a nice source pumper, too, if needed.

Both Engines and the Tanker is nice to see all three are dual purpose. They can bring a crew for manpower, once on scene they can act as Engine, Tanker, or as in Engine 52 can act as Rescue. Lot of flexibility in those all three trucks.

Miss seeing you Mike and watching these awesome videos! Thank you for another great station cribs. This one was definitely unique. Their rigs were very well taken care of and the thought process with all the water was impressive in my opinion. They really care and cater for their community. Well done brother. Looking forward to the next one. Stay safe.

Thank you so much 😊❤😊 for ALWAYS asking about how a local viewer of your outstanding FD series always brings up how to join a volunteer FD, 😊 and shows the web sites or posts information on how a local especially young people can JOIN 😊 It's one of the great things you bring to your videos 😊❤😊 I wish more young people ( including females) would volunteer their time to a local volunteer FD. Give back to their hometown. It's about helping others on the worst day of the poor person life. You, my Hero's Next Door friend 😊❤😊 with your video service, do a wonderful job Is there any way you could do a video on 😊 going back to some of these Departments and maybe just with a phone call, find out if people in the community JOINED up with the Departments you filmed at. I would love to see your success at building more membership in these neat Departments you visited 😊 just asking

Keep rocking big water boys! My Department in Minnesota " not to fair from the dame that about went in the flooding this year South Bend Township Fire" love's big water as well. We have a 3500gal tanker 3000gal pumper tanker, 1000gal pumper and 300gal grass rig. with the departments getting smaller and day time turn out not being what it once was. The more you can bring to the fight at first call the less you need to worried about if your going to run out by the time your other trucks arrive.
