Amazing guide as always! I was struggling with my undead deck (which is a bit underleveled) but even then I was able to clear this boss in 2 tries. Thanks for the good work mate!

Complete opposite effect for me.....I feel like EVERY guide is just "guessing" and getting lucky because I can try 10 different guides and none of them work....I don't know if level has something to do with it but I'm WAY higher level than these guys and fully talented minis yet I just get demolished trying their strategies....idk

I feel like most of the guides they are over level the content by a good bit and this guy is constantly under and without talents so it’s much easier because at this point some of these units probably have talents so that helps a lot.

The only reliable way I found to beat Onu is to actually ignore the Ancients at first. I send as many cycle and fast minis as possible on the right side, spawn a quillboar on the left side of Onu just as it's about to move, and defend my base at the last minute to give my army enough time to finish the job. I haven't tried talentless, but it works with poisonous harpies and stealthed prowler (+ every other fast and/or cycle mini you can fit in your army).

Nice Guide, as always. Still, couldnt do it with Blackrock and horde. Some hits different, too many harpies i guess

Question: is there a reason to upgrade a unit to epic if you don’t need the last talent? Does epic raise any levels or make the unit stronger?

Each rarity increase gives a unit 1 level, which is a 10% increase in its health and damage (and other stuff it might have such as heals). It opens up the last talent slot as well, which even if you don't want to ever use, will give another level to it. So yes, there is definitely a reason to do it.

Rarity and owning a talent gives the mini 2 levels, so Epic is incredibly important for late-game armies and for high-end PvP.

is there anyway to force FOOTMANs in first hand? My footmans are always last to cycle and I'm losing every gem

You can change their position in your army after you have loaded into the encounter once. You will always get the same army slots in your opening had, so replace one of the minis there with Footmen.

I always recive an attack from the right side of the map while still fighting the first two big trees that prevent me to just focus on a so fast rush :(
