Addiction doesn't discriminate anyone can be an addict. To be honest I think it's ridiculous to think everything she said throughout this interview is true considering she never even looked up from the ground, she mumbled and paused constantly throughout the whole interview, she played the victim card every chance she got and never once took ownership for anything that happened in her life. And literally shit on everyone mentioned throughout the whole interview, plus she's an active addict. Active addicts lie every chance they get and don't even realize it, this is coming from an addict in recovery.

These girls deserve our help and not our judgement. A lot of people think “oh, they knew what they were doing!” Uh, no they didn’t. What 14 year old child knows the consequences or even dangers of living in the streets? Furthermore these girls are threatened and beaten in order to keep them compliant and they’re given drugs to keep them docile. As a society it should be our job as adults to protect little boys and girls at all costs, if you see something, say something. If a child tells you they’re being abused, BELIEVE THEM, children don’t make up lies like these for no reason.

@@betsyross9503, sad to say, there are so many on the streets because their parents are so fricking racist. Racism is at every corner you turn. I could not disown my child for something as trivial as that, even if it came down to a divorce with my husband, we brought our kiddos into this world and we are the only true parents they get. God in trusted them to us, not to abuse them in any way, but to love them through what they are dealing with. I do realize at some point the tough love has to come out, but it doesn't involve beating them or sexually abusing them, those are sick parents that do that.

This is the result of a human being who never experienced love, even from childhood with parents. She was never loved, cared for, or protected to develop her own sense of self worth and self love. Trauma happens on many levels, and a lot of it is unknown to people because it's societally accepted. There are professionals out there who are more and more aware of how this works and also what can be done about it, even later in life (check out Gabor Maté, and Bessel van der Kolk here on YT, just to name 2). But common understanding, legislation and enforcement of legislation are very slow to pick up on the scientific understanding of trauma... often also strongly hindered by politics.

Many empathetic people say things such as they'd wish to help. What you don't hear is many have no transportation to get to the destination, they could even be mentally ill. Some of the most empathetic ppl are. I don't get the rude comebacks to this kind woman's just simply wanting to help. People are wanting to help re the fires in Australia too. But they pray to whatever faith they have & try & appreciate everyday life more. Because who knows ,it could all be taken away like that. You could lose your home & rough it on the streets. So,if it were me.... It's not. Please think before you write words that may hurt others. @@savannahshon5928 You don't know that ... now do you? You're making an assumption, based on how she lives her life. Funny though, going on your premise, it's okay to deal with white drug addicts, but not black ones. Racial hatred is racial hatred -- got nothing to do with drug addiction. However, it has everything to do with socio-economic status, skin color, prejudice, and bigotry. Hell, neither of her parents are morally, legally, or ethically fine models of society, doing drugs themselves. Sometimes there are MORE than two verisions to a story. Believe that.

Almost all of them. It's my experience that it often does more damage than physical violence abuse because when people see physical scars they will more likely get help for you, but people treat sexual abuse like it's something you just get over but it doesn't work like that. Then the emotional survival mechanisms start to turn on you and people don't want to deal with you and the cycle continues. My dad and stepgrandfather molested me most of my childhood and somehow I avoided some of the pitfalls many of my peers have with drugs and alcohol but I have some pretty severe emotional problems and extreme night terrors. I have a lot of heroin and alcohol addiction in my family and I believe that my trauma from seeing and experiencing the results of that gave me a healthy fear of it as well as the fear of being out of control. I smoke way too much weed though and I start dissociating if I don't have it for a long time. I got pregnant as a teen and they took my babies, as well. I wasn't even on drugs or anything. It just seems to start a cycle of serious problems for kids who get molested, especially by incest. Its the most prevalent and widespread in the entertainment industry but it's also very common in foster care and children's homes. LA is a hotbed for child molestation especially because of its prevalence in the entertainment industry. They have the most lax child abuse laws.

Andrew Link Maybe because we are normal human being with feelings and emotions? Lol? She had a terrible and horrible childhood upbringing which obviously led her to rely on drugs to numb everything that ever went on in her life. Sure it might’ve been HER decision to end up like this on drugs instead of get something good out of it but still don’t bash anyone for ending up like this when they have been traumatized, basically trafficked, abused, abandoned, and struggling their entire life. She is hurt, and as much as she tried to get better, the only thing that sadly helps most broken people is drugs.
