This song has haunted me since the first time I heard it. Her best song by far....the line.... “Life rocked me like Motley grabbed me by the ribbons in my hair.” Genius. Her voice is perfect in this performance. The engineer mixed the music and voices perfectly. The lyrics remain unforgettable and tug at the emotions to produce a chorus of sadness and hope in a juxtaposition straining to keep the plane upright and flying on that long ride to sanity.
