There are versions of Hyperion as a good guy. Did you read Hickmens Avengers run? There is a version of Hyperion from Supreme Power Marvel's MAX line where he was exactly like Superman and Feige loves the Squadron Supreme characters

Plus he doesn't suit the red hair or have the Hyperion face in my opinion. They should really find another unknown actor again for someone like Hyperion. Good or bad.
