It started a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...
2 years have passed since I created the first scene for BERG WARS. Initially conceived as an effect test, the project became a whole short film.
The decision to film the project in Minecraft arose with the wish to create a technically similar film in the way the filmmakers did for the original trilogy in the 80s.
In Minecraft blocks can not move. To be able to make spaceships fly movements were realized by tracking shots in front of a green screen. Exactly like for Star Wars 1977.
90% of the Movie has been created directly in Minecraft. No blender, no Cinema 4D. Only the game engine and lots of love ❤
