Simon Munnery is just wonderful. I could honestly listen to him for hours.

You can, easily: just put this video on a constant loop. I'm pretty sure Simon would appreciate that solution. But he'll probably never get to hear of it if you choose it.

Still have the wonderful memory of Simon as The Urban Warrior getting heckled by two small children at Glastonbury in the 90s and he ended up breaking character and giving them money to leave him alone.

Loved the Louis Wain film and he is also in one of my favourite scenes in Flowers. Both featuring the music of Arthur Sharpe. (Who also features in MusicForStoneClearing!). 🎶🎧!

I don't think I saw him at his best. He was at a pre-show gig at the Stand in Glasgow pre-fringe. I don't remember if there was anyone else, but Andy Salzman was on first. His laptop had been nicked and he was trying to reconstruct his act on stage. Simon Munnery was totally pissed, doing a one-man play of Sherlock Holmes, playing three parts. He wore a deerstalker when speaking as Sherlock and eventually set fire to it when he put it down on a tealight. His hat smoking away on his head was the funniest part of the evening.

I saw jonny Vegas at up the creek one Sunday night...he was meant to do 20 mins...he was on for 90....it was the best set I've ever seen...and I went nearly every Sunday for years...jonny Vegas in full flow is untouchable...he was arm wrestling people out the crowd....he's one of the best comedians this country has ever produced....impeccable timing....God bless u jonny

Beautiful accent and cadence! Def helps! I first seen him as the shady landlord in Black Books. He brought a level of brilliance i don't think anyone else could have done to that roll.

Yes Jonny V is pretty good. But there's one comedian who's definitely funnier than him: mikejames987. Part of the persona involves him saying "well I'm just a commenter on KZbin, I've never even tried stand-up comedy". I've never seen him drop out of character. A true professional. He had me in stitches last time I was on an operating table.

People saying someone looks like Magnus Pike when they don't have let themselves.

Simon Munnery has really let himself go where he wanted to go.
