I still remember the sketches where Jim was a salesperson for various historical products and always began with “HI! I’M A SHOUTY MAN!”

I always forget that Horrible Histories was technically for children. I became completely obsessed with it when I turned 18, so I was technically an adult when it started. It seemed hysterically ageless. Lol ❤❤❤

I bought one of the HH books in the 90’s when I was in my early 30’s because I’m a bit of a history buff, and it looked like it was a bit of fun, and was only about £10. Within a few months, I’d bought virtually the whole series, and eagerly awaited each new release. Sadly I sold them and many other books when I emigrated. I was so happy when it appeared on TV, and the cast were just right.

horrible histories is so clever in the humour - the actors are just amazing and have me howling. great for kids and pop culture references for adults. x

Watched horrible histories with my children who are now in their twenties. Still remember the songs from it. And now wonderful ghosts. Sadly ending. I truly hope they have something else up,their sleeves. Entertainment at its best

Funny how Matthew says that you could probably just put a team together and Horrible Histories would still work the same because of its framework, yet when the six idiots left the show immediately took an enormous drop in quality

I listened to the full thing and it's honestly hilarious, not many interviewers get them to discuss their entire back catalogue of roles including those they hoped people hadn't seen!

I love horrible histories, i grew up with it and now in my 20s it is definitely a comfort show for me and my friends and i quote it all the time. But i never realised how many adult jokes are hidden in there until i re-watched it recently lol
