Thanks to Reddit, specifically the Panel Shows UK subreddit, for spreading the word and introducing me to your podcasts. I felt so special that you replied to another one of my comments that I have also been spreading the word :D

I only found these Herring POD casts tonight - technically yesterday- and I've been watching them non stop since 8 pm Friday night and it's now 5 o'clock Saturday morning. I've got to go to work today too so - fuck you Richard for creating something that's got me so absorbed I may have to phone in sick. A brilliant array of guest ( Barr this one - never heard of him) but I should reserve judgment until I've watched it. I'm only 5 minutes in - so Here's too another hour without sleep.

+Stewart Hannan but it's not like there were a lot of "your mum" jokes in this episode, so it's not hard to be the best.

Osman has what might be the best deadpan delivery ever. So much fun to listen to him pulling Rich’s leg.

Because he's a TV producer he has the air of someone who's used to wrangling comedy "talent" while privately knowing that he is a lot funnier than any of them.

1:02:26 "6 billion people have died". Actually, about 100 billion humans have died - ie, about 14 people for everyone currently alive. If ghosts were real, we wouldn't be able to move for them.
@kisbie
@kisbie 3 жыл бұрын
There is this fallacy that the majority of all humans ever are alive now, which Osman seems to believe. I'm sure Arthur C Clarke once said though "behind each of us stand 30 ghosts". Maybe it was 13. I'm tired.

TBF, Osman being Heat's Weird Crush of the Year is probably the least obscure guest intro fact in RHLSTP (RHLSTP!) history. It was mentioned in every interview he did for a while.

Oh ironies, I do know who he is - the guy from pointless. The irony? - I just commented I didn't know who this guy was in my last comment, before watching, and I'm sure he lives around here as I've seen him several times walking around the streets where I live. He is quite easy to spot as he is about 8 feet tall. Cambridge. Anybody know if he does live here ? maybe he's just visiting here a lot.

+elijah pink I have seen him walking through Cambridge a few times too, and he is super tall!! I read that his children live in Cambridge with their mother so he is probably visiting them regularly :)
@leesawford

Richard Fraser aah - A fellow 'Cambridgian' ( is that correct terminology?) ,. Anyway -there you go then! I did think about saying hello a couple of times when I saw him in my local on his todd - but then what ?. He seems quite a nice bloke on here. Although I read on another thread that Richard had said this was his least favorite of his Pod cast 'series'. Although that is not apparent from watching it. If anything he seems more animated than in many of the others.

Maybe you can answer me this too - Why, when making a comment on You Tube, has it started putting lines through the text. I know it does it when using unorthodox or just plain bad grammar. But surely they are not becoming like school teachers and highlighting mistakes ? We have to self 'edit' before 'publishing' ?
