Herringbone Lantern Earrings

Materials Needed:
*120 - 8/0 Seed Beads
*70 - 11/0 Seed Beads (A)
*55 - 11/0 Seed Beads (B)
*8 - 4mm Fire Polish Rounds
*4 - 4mm or 6mm Bicones
*1 Pair Ear Hooks
*1 - Size 12 Beading Needle
*3 yards of 6lb Fire Line or One G thread
*Cutters
*Round Nose & Flat Nose Pliers

One of the first beaded beads I made (about 11 years ago) was a tubular herringbone beaded bead! It was a fun way to learn the possible things you can do with tubular herringbone. Enjoying your video :)

I discovered size 14 Fireline when I ordered it by mistake. To my surprise, I really love it and use it most of the time; it will even fit through size 15s and through the eye of most beading needles, including short quilting needles, which I use to sew in my tail threads which are too short. This size is very good when using large hole beads, sizes 6 and 8. Try it, you'll like it!

Hello hello Kelly, this is a wonderful tutorial. I have made 2 already. I have one little problem I can not figure out. The earring concaves in one place so then I push it out and another place will concave. I tried reinforcing again but that hasn't worked. I am going to make another pair and try to make my tension tighter. I love the shape of these earrings, so I want to fix this problem. I will but a pic on Facebook. Bless you Kelly.

to finish you put on a bead, the Beaded bead, and a bead and make a wrapped loop. I didn't show this bc I have many other videos that show this.
