The original carousel building looks far superior to that blue tent they house it in now, although grown up in the 90s, I'll always have a soft spot for its red white and blue building.

Yes back in the day when times where easy going simpler life not like today’s rigmarole. Love seeing the cars in the parking lot especially love seeing that white 60’s Lincoln continental rolling in at 1:06 😊

Amazing video, great quality. Look at how a tablet isn't blocking these kids from seeing outside the windows on the monorail or anything else in front of them. Now if a kid sits still for any amount of time regardless of what is going on they cry for a tablet or the parents shove it in there faces anyway. So glad I didn't grow up with smart phones etc. I guess it depends on the parent these days, but too many kids are glued to a screen before they can walk pretty much. Sorry for the tangent, the nostalgia got me, lol.

I was hoping to see the old electric tram that circumscribed the park. The sky ride and monorail are two of the most colossal bores ever! PWG

Hersheypark looked so small back then.

It was. You were able to take your time and spend a day there and enjoy every relaxing minute. I believe around the time of this video it was free to get in.

Well Midway America and The Boardwalk didn't exist. I believe the park ended at the Dry Gulch Railroad train.
