HERZOG slag automation with robot on 7th axis

Automatic systems from HERZOG for the preparation of slag samples are the standard in steelworks laboratories. As shown here, the sample preparation machines can be arranged in a robot system designed for the rapid processing of a large number of samples. In this case, a robot mounted on a seventh axis was chosen to fit as many machines as possible into the automated system.
