Fun Fact... in 1980 (or perhaps even Christmas 1979) I was given my first Rubik's cube. By the end of 1980/some point 1981 I worked out how to solve it... myself. Aged 21, in 1981, I started timing myself - nothing too accurate really - and I had a seriously lucky solve or about 32 seconds (it was under 35 secs but I took a second or more to realise I had finished it!). By the end of 1982ish I was regularly under one minute still using my original cube... when it didn't burst apart! And what was my lube back then? None other than Vaseline! So no official record but it did happen! And I still cube pretty much every day and have had an incredibly lucky solve of about 12ish seconds and several under 30 but usually run somewhere between 40-60 seconds... still! Just can't see the colours in the F2L quickly enough! Ho hum... perhaps in another 43 years I might be regularly sub 30! Great vid btw and thank you.

It took me a good week to unscramble my 7 year old's 3 x 3 mirror cube. It took me a good 3 hours to fix it again today after he brought it back in disarray. Those kids would probably just take it, fix it, and give it back to me. I had to draw from a mix of written instructions and videos. When are you Africans gonna buy a few solar technologies, reverse engineer them, and then improve upon them to make them your own? Most of you may not realize it but you're leagues ahead of where we are in the west. You compete for the best scores and we compete with who can be the most disrespectful in class. We need better renewable technologies and you, as a people, have so much potential. Don't let it slip.
