I am sure Em did advise them not to all get on every track together at the same time, and to use less "underground" beats because at the end of the day the label is a business and needs to make money from it's artists. The problem at Shady has been having the best lyricists with less mainstream marketability. Yelawolf and 50 are the only exceptions. Em has even done that to himself on mulitple albums like recovery, mmlp2 and revival where he has gone with a pop element to try and appeal to a wider audience and satisfy more people.
