I love the young man who is teaching at the end! Its so thrilling to see someone so young who has a good working knowledge of chemistry. Its a weak area in me but I find intrigued in his intelligence. He challenges me to be as smart as he is. If he can know this stuff, so can I. I am 55 and going back to school for nursing. Thank you for this video!

Is prometaphase considered a phase of mitosis? If so, there are 5 stages? (if asked in an exam)
@MometrixTestPrep8 жыл бұрын
Mitosis consists of four basic phases: prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase. Some textbooks list five, breaking prophase into an early phase (called prophase) and a late phase (called prometaphase). These phases occur in strict sequential order, and cytokinesis - the process of dividing the cell contents to make two new cells - starts in anaphase or telophase. Hope this helps. Don't forget we have an excellent HESI Study Guide on our website at www.hesia2secrets.com!

It's 6H2O not 12 in photosynthesis...
@MometrixTestPrep7 жыл бұрын
Chris, you're right, there are two ways to work this equation, one of which is to simplify the 12H2O to 6H2O, but we are leaving it there to indicate what is happening chemically, which is that 6H2O is being produced as a result of this process... simplifying the equation would remove that important piece of information. Thanks for the comment!
