Lack of support feeling is mainly due to no torsion system (esp compared to UB). Similar ride with my EQT F15 2/3 Athleisure. It's a full boost midsole but not as much boost in heel area so feels more stable than 93/17. Agree on 93/17 tongue design which should be more like the UB ST version

I used to have a pair of these and I feel like these deserve a massive update: A simple tongue instead of a folding one; A harder insole, because with this insole (even with like 50kg at that time) one tends to step "into" not "on" the boost material, which I think is a massive issue; you have like to materials you drop into.

I don't think there's such a thing as too much boost! I personally have absolutely no issue with the tongue... Absolutely in love with them... by far the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned and for me personally there's no cons... I'd say the spots and marks on the boost itself is the only con but it's not only with these,all the boosts either turn yellow,or they get those marks and spots which sucks but eh :/
@JackSparrow07267 жыл бұрын
Love em. But 2 cons. 1. So much boost in the side of heels that sometimes my feet rub against each other. 2. Toe box so low cut that it feels a bit snug due lack of height

@akaTRENT7 жыл бұрын
I argue the portion of Boost that actually sits under the foot isn't much more than a UB. However, it's much softer. It was so weird to find thesehella comfortable -- at first. Then after a few wears you realize why the UB is so good. Although, no torsion in the Yeezy Boost V2 and feels similar to the UB. Perhaps the side walls and a firmer Boost in there is what's doing it?

I have the white EQTs and just wanted to say that I don't experience the same issue with the boost crease. Maybe it is really weight-related considering it does have such a huge amount of boost cushioning effect.
@Machinewashcold_7 жыл бұрын
I have a love hate relationship with this shoe. i love the white colorway and was a must cop for me. But it is not an ultraboost killer. I can wear these for most of the day but my feet will get tired unlike the ultraboost, which i can wear all day and not really feel a thing. Another thing is this shoe is missing the torsion system which was something i did not think i would notice but I definitely do. it makes the shoe feel a lot flatter. Even though it is still comfortable and looks way better than the 3.0s (my opinion) i rather wear my ultraboost if i know ima be on my feet all day.
@Triannosaurus7 жыл бұрын
I didn't experience the boost crease on mine, but my soles did get stained the first time wearing them. Doesn't really bother me, but I was pretty bummed when I first found out about it. However, I do get a bunch of compliments, and break alot of necks whenever I wear these out haha.
@michaelp8657 жыл бұрын
I owned my pair for about 2 weeks. Sold it. I also felt that there was too much boost. When I first drove my car (manual) I felt like I had a new clutch. Hahah the boost, using the clutch on my car was a little different, I stalled. I felt like I was tripping on own feet sometimes when I walk because the amount of boost. Comfort was out of this world, but the upper could use better materials. I still say the ultra boost is better for me.
@adamszuszkiewicz17096 жыл бұрын

i agree with you in almost all points. The boost on these shoes gets dirty sooo easy! & I am also a victim of the gash, I don't know where it came from but its there & it has nothing to do with boost "creasing" as mine is on the back heel. I haven't had any luck copping any other colorway I'm going to try my luck with the Overkills this weekend.

The dirt on the boost on the rear heal is from driving your car or sitting down and not having your feet planted. The side scuff I do not know where that's from lol i have worn my about ten times and nothing. I do notice the boost sole design is distorting a bit because of wait.
@sergiomiranda12397 жыл бұрын
For some reason the mild leather 93/17 fit and feel better then the og and white pair and it's lighter in weight in my opinion the tongue is made of a lighter material too
@ChrisJohnsoniShootnRaw7 жыл бұрын
I have the OG colorway, I don't have a crease in the sides but on the back I do have that stain or dirt mark. Not sure if you drive a lot but I think the marks on the back come from driving. I notice when I drive the back of the shoe rests and rubs on my car mats when I drive. I keep a pair of driving shoes now so I don't drive in them. Also sometimes I have a tendency to sit with my legs str8 out and crossed with the heels of the shoe resting on the ground when I'm like outside chilling/bird watching(aka watching women). I think that maybe another reason as well. That side marking is vicious! Lol you might of scraped something.... or yeah a bit heavy for them lol. Nice vid!
@heskicks7 жыл бұрын

Mine look fine. I wear the white and the black 2-3 times a week all day at work and after. I also walk around all day. I weight 180lbs and rock size 11. Boost looks perfect. The creasing happens more on dudes that are heavier. My boy weight over 250lbs and his did what HES kicks did. But then again my boy stresses out all his boost. So if you are relatively fit I'd say cop. Also way more comfortable than any other boost shoe IMO. Great video!
@PlantainSupernova7 жыл бұрын
Will you be making a video for the 93/16 eqt sneakers? From what I've seen they have a similar boost tooling to the ultra boost, and more of a classic 90s material upper.
@mus317 жыл бұрын
I agree with you Hes, for some reason eqt support doesn't feel as comfortable for me, especially in the forefoot.
@Mambacit07 жыл бұрын
I don't have that boost creasing like you do, however I do believe that people should take notice that the midsole or mid area is snug. I wear 10.5 in UB's and went with a 10 in these. I can wear them, but I take out the insole so it doesn't look like my feet are gonna explode out of the shoe. I don't regret the purchase, because I love the shoes, but I wish I went with a 10.5. However, if I could only get one shoe and I was on a budget, then I would go with UB's. Prices are slowly going down and uncages are going for under retail. Hopefully my comment helps someone. Shoe Sizes for different brands (I have wide feet) Retro Jordans - Size 9.5 (TTS) NMD/UB's - 10.5 (full size up) PK NMDs - 10 (material/shoe is more wide foot friendly) BOOST EQTs - 10.5.. (I went with a 10 and I wish i got a 10.5) (Full size up like the UB's) Cons: Snug for wide-footers Lack of support Traction is too thin Tongue is awkward Get super dirty really fast Pros: Lots of boost - Comfortable (more than UB's? that's debatable) One of the best silhouettes in terms for Summer and Spring
@1992ilikepie6 жыл бұрын
I bought these and they're ok. I'm a size 5, and adidas doesn't always size down well so they look kinda chunky on foot. And i agree with him that it's unsupportive, my heel is like constantly rubbing the back of them. But they still look dope.

Imo since I was at the adidas store that had boost shoes I saw the eqt ones and ultra boost and put them both on and the ultra boost had a harder boost but still comfy like between nmd and eqt and the eqt your feet sunk into the shoes but with comfort

Tongue is my only con for the 93/17. It seems to constantly roll over inside the shoe and can be uncomfortable at times. Not sure why it does it and can't figure out a fix for it. I do love the shoe regardless of that fact. Comfort is A1 steak sauce.

I have these and got the same problems with the boost getting scuffed and picking up dirt. They look more worn than some shoes I have had for a lot longer because of this. No amount of cleaning gets the boost looking good again either.
