I’m with you. My prof is awesome but he is so intense and speaks as if everything is life and death. “Don’t make the mistake of thinking heat is temperature” “okay? Don’t make that mistake” like whoo, I hope I don’t. This vid was understandable and actually relaxed me.

Hi Melissa, I am a Biology and Enviro teacher who has been thrown into IBDP Chem for a term to cover the teacher who left. Just wanted to say thanks for the videos. I haven't done much Chemistry for 25 years or so (other than what I need for Bio) so you've been a life saver, particularly with Hess' law. OMG what a nightmare and soooo badly explained in the IB text book and on Kognity. I feel for the students.

Went to my Chem 2 teacher for help, and she overcomplicated it. Three hours with her tutor on campus, still unclear. Watches Khan Academy and study.com videos, still confused. I get lost in all the formulas very easily. I just had an exam on calorimetry and enthalpy, and I just cant seem to match the questions with the formulas that I *think* I know. I always feel like there are a million things I need to take into consideration, so I et overwhelmed and just forget everything
