does any body can tell ,one unit of glargine insulin will reduce, how much blood glucose in diabetics suppose a patient takes 20 units of glargine at 8pm,bed time,after 12 hrs how much glargine is consumed ,how much will remain further use by the body

@@NIDDKgov I could not find the answer to question in the above mentioned website, I am a physician from India. Usually we select insulin dose depending on body weight. Same body weight person's may have different levels of glucose, then how to decide the dose? Thank you for the reply
