For anyone that is like me and tried every solution possible that could be found online only to still not fix the audio problem, I wanted to share what finally worked for me. I went into BIOS and in the Display menu I had 2 options. The one that was not check marked as being in use was my Intel Display Graphics, so I just switched to this and rebooted. Much to my relief, this solved the problem for me. I'm embarrassed to say that this took me 4 months to figure out after my husband had done a full wipe and restart of our home computer. I hope this helps someone!

Hey i am trying to connect panasonic tv through dp port to hdmi cable adapter.Video is working fine but no audio.The tv doesnt appear in playback devices it shows hdmi audio device not plugged in I tried updating drivers, installing display audio driver.the dp to hdmi adapter supports audio but still doesnt work Please help me..Thinkpad l420
@HetmanRecovery Жыл бұрын
If you have already tried updating the drivers and installing the Display Audio driver, it is possible that the problem is related to the sound settings on your computer. Check that the sound settings on your computer are set to output sound through the HDMI cable. To do this, open "Control Panel" and go to "Sound". If the TV still doesn't appear in the list of available playback devices, try changing the sound settings on the TV. It is possible that it is set to use a different port for sound input. If you are using a DP to HDMI adapter, make sure that it supports audio transmission. Some adapters do not support audio transmission through HDMI. Try using a different HDMI cable or adapter to ensure that the problem is not due to a faulty cable or adapter. If you are still experiencing the problem, try getting help from an expert or technical support from the manufacturer of your TV or computer.

Hi, Is the external speaker required to listen audio..... Because I have did all the things whatever mentioned in video but not works Did for windows 10... Can we listen audio in LCD speaker which is already inside in TV .so this is necessary to attatched external speaker as well.. Can you clear this doubt .
@HetmanRecovery Жыл бұрын
It seems like you're having trouble getting audio to work on your Windows 10 computer when connecting it to an external display, such as a TV. Whether or not you need to attach external speakers depends on a few factors: TV Speaker Capabilities: Some TVs have built-in speakers that are adequate for basic audio needs, while others may have higher-quality built-in speakers. It's important to check the audio capabilities of your TV to determine if they meet your expectations. Audio Output Settings: In Windows 10, you can specify the audio output source. Make sure your computer is set to output audio through the correct device (e.g., your TV) by following these steps: a. Right-click the speaker icon in the Windows taskbar. b. Select "Open Sound settings." c. Under "Output," choose your TV or the display to which your computer is connected. TV Input Source: Ensure that your TV is set to the correct input source where your computer is connected. If you're using HDMI, select the HDMI input that corresponds to your computer's connection. Volume Levels: Check the volume levels on both your computer and TV. Sometimes, the volume may be muted or set too low, causing no audio output. Drivers and Software: Ensure that your computer has the necessary audio drivers installed, and they are up-to-date. Sometimes, outdated or missing drivers can cause audio issues. External Speakers: If you've checked all the settings and your TV's built-in speakers are not providing the audio quality you desire, you can certainly attach external speakers to your computer. These speakers can enhance your audio experience, but they are not always necessary, especially if your TV has decent built-in speakers. In most cases, you should be able to listen to audio on your TV's built-in speakers without needing external speakers, provided that the TV and computer settings are correctly configured. If you're still experiencing issues, you may want to check the HDMI cable, restart your computer, and make sure your TV and computer are both powered on and functioning properly. If the problem persists, you may need to consult your TV's user manual or seek technical support for further assistance.

Very interesting a lot of options, some, most wouldn't think of like the last couple. Thanks so much. Maybe something in the list will work. No one seems to have my situation running HDMI through audio receiver to new 4K TV with media center & the sound cuts out because of copyright probably. Works fine with my old 1080p TV. Maybe that scan for hardware changes might do something. Funny but it plays through the TV speakers just not the receiver surround sound ones. Oh yeah, my OS is windows 7.
@HetmanRecovery Жыл бұрын
To find out why the sound is being interrupted due to copyright, you can try adjusting the content protection settings on the device on which the sound is being played. To do this, open the Control Panel and go to Sound Settings. Here, you can find the Content Protection tab and check whether content protection settings for audio are enabled. You can also try to disable content protection on the device on which you are playing the audio. To do this, go to the Content Protection tab and disable all content protection settings. If you have a problem with the sound coming through the TV speakers and not the receiver's surround speakers, you can try adjusting the audio output on your computer. To do this, go to the sound settings on your computer and select the audio output channel that corresponds to the receiver's surround sound. If your computer does not have the appropriate output channels, you can try connecting the computer to the receiver using other input channels, for example, optical or coaxial.

The must complete video about it but mine is not working yet whenever I plug in the hdmi the KZbin videos are not playing or just the sound and the video doesn’t start or is not sync if I deactivate HdAudio driver for display the sound of the tv stops but the video works fine if I open fl studio it solves it but it also start the problem when I install it I remove it and restore the laptop but nothing works
@HetmanRecovery Жыл бұрын
It seems like you're experiencing some issues with your laptop and HDMI output, particularly when trying to play KZbin videos. It's not entirely clear what might be causing the problem, but I can provide you with a step-by-step troubleshooting guide to help you diagnose and potentially resolve the issue. Check HDMI Connection: Ensure that the HDMI cable is properly connected to both your laptop and the TV or external monitor. Try using a different HDMI cable and/or a different HDMI port on your TV or monitor to rule out cable or port issues. Display Settings: Right-click on your desktop and select "Display settings." Make sure that your TV or external monitor is recognized as a second display. If not, try clicking on "Detect" to see if it appears. Graphics Driver: Update your graphics driver to the latest version. You can usually do this through the manufacturer's website (e.g., NVIDIA, AMD, Intel) or through Windows Update. Audio Settings: Check your laptop's audio output settings. Right-click on the speaker icon in the taskbar and select "Open Sound settings." Ensure that the audio output is set to the HDMI device or the TV. Sometimes, this may need manual configuration. Browser Settings: If the issue is specific to KZbin videos, try a different web browser to see if the problem persists. Playback Quality: On KZbin, check the video quality settings. Lower the quality to see if that helps with synchronization. Software Conflicts: It's peculiar that FL Studio appears to resolve the issue temporarily. This could indicate a software conflict. Try disabling or uninstalling any recently installed or suspicious software that might interfere with your graphics or audio settings. Audio Drivers: Make sure your audio drivers are up to date. You might need to visit your laptop manufacturer's website to download and install the latest audio drivers. System Restore: If the problem started after installing FL Studio, consider performing a System Restore to a point before FL Studio was installed. Check for Windows Updates: Ensure your Windows operating system is up to date with the latest updates. Hardware Check: If none of the software-related solutions work, it's possible that there's a hardware issue with either your laptop or the TV/monitor. External Device Testing: Test your laptop with another TV or monitor and vice versa to see if the issue follows one device or if it's consistent. If none of these steps resolve your issue, it may be worth consulting with a professional technician to diagnose and fix the problem. It's possible that there could be a more complex issue at play that requires expert assistance.

Im using an android TV. The output from my laptop is turned to 2-smart tv but the volume bar is set to 0 and it wont move either place. Tried updating drivers, changing ports and restarting the tv but neither of those methods worked for me :( would you help me?
@HetmanRecovery Жыл бұрын
Hello! To fix the sound issue on Android TV, try the following: Restart your TV and check if the volume bar is working. Make sure the audio cable is properly connected to the TV. Check that your TV is running the latest software. Make sure the sound settings are properly configured on your laptop. Use a different HDMI cable or a different HDMI port on your TV. If none of these methods work, you may need to contact a service centre to get help with the problem.

Hello sir, My laptop disk is formatted but I recovered all data in the same hard disk by recovery software. However, all data showing empty means not supported format so again deleted and recovered it. There is no data was recovered. I have lost a maximum of 800GB of data, So can you please suggest any solution is there for recovering all data?
@HetmanRecovery8 ай бұрын
I’m sorry to hear about the data loss you’ve experienced. It sounds like the data recovery attempts may have caused further issues with the files. In this situation, I recommend using a professional data recovery tool like Hetman Partition Recovery to attempt to recover the lost data. Here’s what you can do: Stop Using the Hard Drive: To prevent further data loss, stop using the hard drive immediately. Continued use of the drive can overwrite the lost data, making it harder to recover. Download and Install Hetman Partition Recovery: You can download the software from the official website at hetmanrecovery.com/download.htm. Install the software on a different drive or computer to avoid overwriting the lost data. Run Hetman Partition Recovery: Launch the software and follow the on-screen instructions to scan the formatted drive for lost files. The software will analyze the drive and attempt to recover the lost data. Preview and Recover Files: After the scan is complete, you can preview the recoverable files to ensure they are intact. Select the files you want to recover and proceed with the recovery process. Save Recovered Data: It’s recommended to save the recovered data to a different drive to avoid overwriting the lost files. Do not save the files back to the same formatted drive. Please note that the success of data recovery depends on various factors, including the extent of data overwriting and the condition of the drive. If you encounter any difficulties during the recovery process, feel free to reach out to our technical support team for assistance. I hope this helps in recovering your lost data. Let me know if you have any more questions or need further assistance

by doing that my pc didn't reinstall the high definition audio device, not even by restarting the laptop and now my pc doesn't even recognize the tv as a sound device, what can i do to fix it?
@HetmanRecovery4 ай бұрын
Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue: Check Device Manager: Right-click on the Start menu and select “Device Manager.” Look for any devices with a yellow exclamation mark or under the “Sound, video and game controllers” section. If you see any devices with issues, right-click on them and select “Update driver” to see if Windows can find and install the necessary drivers. Reinstall Audio Drivers: Visit the manufacturer’s website of your PC or motherboard and download the latest audio drivers for your specific model. Install the audio drivers and restart your PC to see if the audio devices are recognized. Check Audio Settings: Right-click on the speaker icon in the system tray and select “Open Sound settings.” Under the “Output” section, make sure the correct audio output device (e.g., speakers or TV) is selected. Test the audio output to see if the sound is working correctly. Run Windows Troubleshooters: Open the Settings app (Windows key + I), go to “Update & Security,” and then “Troubleshoot.” Run the “Playing Audio” troubleshooter to automatically detect and fix audio playback issues. Check HDMI Connection: If you are trying to use the TV as a sound device via HDMI, ensure that the HDMI cable is securely connected between your PC and the TV. Check the TV’s input settings to make sure it is set to receive audio from the HDMI input. System Restore: If the issue started after a recent change or update, you can try using System Restore to revert your system to a previous point when the audio was working correctly.

What operating system are you using? If you have Windows, try the following: Right-click on an empty space on your desktop and select "Display settings". Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Advanced display settings". Select "Duplicate these displays" or "Extend these displays". If the HDMI option you want is still not displayed, try changing the screen resolution lower or higher to see if it appears. If you have macOS, follow these steps: Click on the "Apple" icon in the top left corner and select "System Preferences". Select "Monitors" (Displays). Make sure that the TV is properly connected and detected. If needed, you can select 'Arrange display' to display your desktop on both screens. If all this doesn't help, it might be the HDMI port on your computer itself. Try connecting the device to a different port or use a different HDMI cable. If nothing helps, it may be worth checking the device on another TV or monitor to rule out the possibility of technical problems on your particular TV.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing sound issues on your Linux system. Sound problems can be frustrating, but there are several steps you can take to diagnose and potentially resolve the issue. Here's a troubleshooting guide to help you get your sound back: Check Hardware Connections: Ensure that your speakers or headphones are properly connected to the correct audio jack on your computer. If you are using an HDMI cable to connect to your TV, make sure it's securely plugged in. Check Audio Output Device: Open your sound settings by clicking on the volume icon in the system tray or by accessing the sound settings in your system's settings menu. Verify that the correct output device is selected. It should be your speakers or the HDMI output if you're using a TV. Try switching the output device to see if sound comes from an alternate source. Check Volume Levels: Ensure that the volume is not muted, both in your system settings and on your speakers or headphones. Adjust the volume slider to an appropriate level. Restart the Audio Service: Sometimes, the audio service may encounter issues. Restart it by opening a terminal and running: Copy code sudo systemctl restart alsa-utils Check for Audio Drivers: Ensure that you have the necessary audio drivers installed for your sound card. You can check for updates or reinstall the drivers if needed. Run an Audio Test: Open a terminal and use the aplay command to test audio playback. For example: bash Copy code aplay /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav If you hear sound, it means your audio subsystem is working, and the issue may be with specific applications. Check Application Sound Settings: Make sure that the sound settings within the applications you're using are configured correctly. Some apps have their own volume controls. Check for Recent Updates: Updates or changes to your system could sometimes cause audio issues. Check if there were any recent updates installed and consider rolling back if necessary. Check for Conflicting Applications: Some applications may take exclusive control of the audio output. Check if any applications are preventing other apps from using the audio. Restart Your System: Sometimes, a simple reboot can resolve minor issues with the audio subsystem. If you've tried all of the above steps and are still experiencing sound issues, there may be more complex problems with your audio setup. You can consider seeking help from the Linux community or forums specific to your Linux distribution for more advanced troubleshooting.

I understand that this can be quite annoying, but don't worry, there are a few solutions that can help restore HDMI sound on your device. Here are a few steps you can try: Check if the sound is turned on on the TV itself. Make sure the sound is not muted or turned down to minimum on your TV. Make sure the HDMI cable is connected properly to your device and TV. The cable may have been accidentally disconnected or not connected properly. Restart your device. This can sometimes solve the sound issue. Check the sound settings on your device. Make sure the sound is playing through the correct audio output. Update the sound driver on your device. Sometimes an outdated driver can cause sound problems. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

My TV is connected to the PC. Every single time I turn the PC on, there is no audio for 5 minutes, whatever I do. After that 5 minutes when I change the picture format and back to the usual, the audio comes. - Cable is perfectly ok, - Ports are ok as well, - Drivers are updated, (this has always been an issue either with old or new driver updates anyway, - Windows settings are perfectly ok too, - Troubleshooter cant find a problem, - and TV audio is perfect (just not the first 5 minutes). Any idea from anyone what may be the problem and how to solve it? Just haven't tried bios, and don't want to mess with it, since my bios knowledge is limited.
@HetmanRecovery9 ай бұрын
It sounds like a peculiar issue. Since you've already ruled out several potential causes, here are a few additional troubleshooting steps you might consider: BIOS Update: While you mentioned you're hesitant to update the BIOS due to limited knowledge, it might still be worth exploring. Check your motherboard manufacturer's website for any BIOS updates and follow their instructions carefully if you decide to proceed. Sometimes, BIOS updates can address compatibility issues that could affect audio performance. Check Power Management Settings: Sometimes, power management settings can interfere with audio output. Make sure your PC's power management settings are not set to turn off or power down audio devices to conserve power. Disable Fast Startup: Fast Startup is a feature in Windows that can sometimes cause compatibility issues, especially during boot-up. You can try disabling Fast Startup to see if it resolves the audio delay issue. To do this, go to Control Panel > Power Options > Choose what the power buttons do > Change settings that are currently unavailable, then uncheck the box next to "Turn on fast startup." Audio Enhancements: Sometimes, audio enhancements or effects can cause delays or issues with audio playback. Try disabling any audio enhancements in the Sound settings of Windows to see if it makes a difference. Check Event Viewer: Look for any error messages or warnings related to audio or device drivers in the Windows Event Viewer. This might provide some insight into what's causing the delay. Test with Different Display Connections: If your TV supports multiple input methods (e.g., HDMI, VGA, DisplayPort), try connecting your PC using a different connection method to see if the issue persists. Try a Different TV or Monitor: If possible, try connecting your PC to a different TV or monitor to see if the issue occurs with a different display device. This can help determine if the issue is specific to your TV or if it's related to your PC's configuration. If none of these steps resolve the issue, it might be worth seeking assistance from a professional technician who can diagnose the problem further.
