Boss Katana 100 + Fender MIM Strat = $1000 setup that covers most sounds.. Your right tones in the play, but a good setup creates versatility. That's the rig I landed on for the past few years and I love it (but the Katana is permanently plugged into PC and controlled through it)

See? It's the lumberjack, not the axe! I still have my original bass from 28yrs ago. Works great. I NEVER left it in my car following gigs, always treated it with care and it has rewarded me w decades of service. Sadly too many idiots think an expensive instrument will make them better players. ...I'm so glad to see that little kid playing on actual drum kit now. I've always wanted him to play not on his self-made one but on real drum sets.👍 It's good that he have one now.......& I really like and admire these kids esp. on how they came up with ideas to make such a good music of their own. Music REALLY is the universal language! That is pretty good for an improv set! "Chickin' Pickin".... is what(Country legend) Chet Atkins calls that style, of blue-grass style of strumming.,whom did it well,... & its not easy to do!
