I realize your negative comments towards their son and the way they conduct their family is because you don’t know any better. This grown man found a way to feed and take care of his family, he has stayed with his parents not because he has to but because of his respect for them. A son a man is first in their culture and they love each other and instead of admiring this man and his respect for his parents you all nick pick over how and how much he eats. I love this couple. They could have been an ideal family if only they taught their son at the very young age the essence of hard work. I ache seeing the Father only doing the farm chores. They have the machineries to cultivate the land. I cant understand why the son cant help, Just a simple guiding of that tractor, unlike in other 3rd world countries , u have to do it by your own hands with the help of a local buffalo. Truly the son is a liability even finishing college at a late age aside from being a full time mukbanger were i presume is the only thing he is good at and where money is good, but not for long though. You dont consider it as a stable job but an extra one. I cant imagine why they didn't teach him to be responsible as what Koreans are popular of being disciplinarian. Being the only child if he is an only child is not an excuse of being lazy. Anyway, i love how they eat calmly and savour that delicious food the wife prepared. Its pleasing to the eyes.
