Only issue we had was video/audio lag on the ride section which i assume was because its on a laptop rather than desktop and it hasnt the gusto to power all the info. Just to add, the stained glass window in the queue line was very well done indeed.

we have also noticed audio/video de-syncronization on lower spec machines. This is not something we will be able to fix, we will do our best to optimize, but we will have to draw the line somewhere.

The only thing I could think to do to make this even more immersive is use a bit of spacial audio, position where the speakers usually are so that in the demo, you can hear everything around - namely for the voiceover and effects room where you stand. Apologies if this has already been done haha

yeah I was really struggling to work out the correct way to implement audio, so we did a very basic job for the pre alpha. This will be sorted for the main release though

The park will always remain as up to date as physically possible. We do have some ideas about keeping older rides accessible in some form, but this is a long way off at the moment.

I downloaded this and only have one problem. Everything is a bit too dark. The main queue was almost impossible to see and the same with the doors. The large pillars on each end of the vault that house the pendulum should be visible throughout the majority of the sequence. If it is all brightened up a little then we can all appriciate the hard work everyone involved has put into this project. Other than that this is a very good recreation and I look foreward to seeing the amazing quality of the rest of this recreation.

yeah lighting is one of our biggest issues to work on, but again with this being a pre alpha, it will have a lot of issues to address but we needed to call it at some point otherwise it would never have got out.... the problem with making things dark in a game is that in real light the eye will open more and let you see more, but then close when going outside, its a hard balance that we have not quite got yet...

I probably shouldn't be replying to this too late but unreal's lighting goes really dark and weird looking indoors, you have to adjust it all manually I think

I extracted the file wrong and got a blue screen then I did it right ran it works perfect it was great I liked the sound effect and loved the fact I could jump when sat down on the ride ;) but I can't wait till it's finished I call almost smell the towers when I was on hex

I downloaded this the other day and I have a couple of issues, but apart from that it is fantastic, great work guys! The three issues I had were: 1.Too dark, couldn't see where I was going at all, and with never being on Hex (I'm not a big fan of dark rides) I didn't know where to go at all. 2. The sounds/music in and around the ride and in fountain square was very jumpy. Although in fountain square if I was facing a certain way it would play correctly 3. It is extremely laggy. Would it be better optimized when it fully comes out or should I start saving for a better PC? (My current specs are: Intel core i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz, 6GB RAM (5.89GB usable), no graphics, 64-bit operating system, x64 based processor, Windows 10 Home.

1 . That's already on the list of optimizations, something we were already aware of but needed a lot more time to fix, so we chose to release as is. 2. Sound was very basic, we haven't quite worked out how to implement it properly yet, bt rest assured it will be sorted in the main release 3. If you don't have a dedicated graphics card then you're gonna struggle, this is the same for absolutely any graphically demanding game and something you should look to sorting if you want to be able to play this lag free.

I've recently got a gaming computer with brilliant specs, so I ran the game again. This time, The lighting was a lot better, the sound was very fluent and easy to pick up, and there was no lag whatsoever, even on ultra settings!

absolutely! we plan to have VR support in place by Phase 2 at the latest. Unfortunately it requires us to have the tech to test it with first and it's pretty expensive.
