This is an amazing cover/concept! I have some ideas to make this even more fleshed out: Maybe different animations during faster sections before phase two. Different facial expressions, or perhaps subtle arm movements to add more life (ironic I know). During the sections where it is supposed to be a scream, you can make rough horror sketches using Hex, maybe with a story attached (something simple of course) or just general scary looking versions of hex akin to the original. The "I'm dead" part is crucial! I love the voice line already. But perhaps something like a girlish laugh? I think Pokémon might have had a sound effect like that in one of the games more spoopy sections. Apart from these things I could come up with. The execution here was well made! Sprite is appealing, cover done pretty well (aside from a few nitpicks, but could just be from my own compositional style), and great use of the theme. I hope you continue work on this! Or, make another good project!

To be honest, I was very split on how to feel about Monochrome's Perish Mix(or V2), but this....THIS IS A *MASTERPIECE!* The implementation of the Hex Maniac Creepypasta from X & Y, making her a puppet for a demented Haunter, making the screams for the blackout jump scares less loud(seriously, that's one of the BIGGEST reasons why I gravitated towards the Non-Screamer version, and yet I still fell off it, because the screams felt atmospheric, and I NEEDED them quieter), the vocals, *_OH DEAR ARCEUS, THE VOCALS!!_* Only 150k views, though?? This NEEDS to be more popular. I'm sending this to my friends, RIGHT NOW, and I'm making an MP3 file! 105/5 for this!

this is amazing, the sprites are really great, a few suggestions, for the writing mechanic of monochrome the words could be either scribbled out so its difficult to see or backwards, and instead of the damage mechanic it could include the selebi mechanic of cutting the total hp bar but instead of it being a selebi its a ghastly doing the move lick, since it has a chance to paralyze it would go great here, with a little laugh cueing its appearance
