The price is crazy you can buy the back paddles from eXtreme rate for $40 and its super easy to install even if you never done it before takes about 30 -40 mins if u never took apart a controller before you dont have to solder if you dont want you just cant remap to L3,R3, or the touch pad and you can get whole color conversion kits for like $20 from the same guys you as well as trigger locks for another $20

@HappyMvx I can lol honestly I can, that's why my name is controller freek, hex gaming use extremerate parts as a builder I would rather just buy the parts because your gonna save 100 pounds English or 100 plus if your in the USA, I've been using extremerate for years as well as ar controller's they German and the French boys are on job.

For anyone wondering, the extremerate builds are alot more cost effective. It took me maybe 30 min to dissect and assemble the kit into my controller. Easy to install and use. Even better feeling than hex

Extremerate says that they're working on a 4 button kit that they're aiming for a release near the end of the year. I'd imagine they'll offer that with their Hex prebuilds once it releases.

Their not the only ones, I could build a controller like this, and have it sent out to you the same day and I offer more customization with aim interchangeable thumbsicks, everything Hex offer and more for 200 or 230 with a year warranty that covers stick drift. I'm so glad I came across ar controller's in Germany, they like aim controller's have four paddles a lot of options but remember the PS5 console has been released for about year officially, so not a lot of parts have been made yet but my German and French friend have parts galore. The German mouse click is something to behold makes extremerate one looked flawed I do like them but a few things could be improved.

@@jorgebacon hello, actually my paddles just stopped working out of no where actually today which is like 6 months of having it. I will say the paddles do wear out depending on your usage. If you use then alot I'll say they last a month then u can easily buy some new ones and replace but for some reason my whole remap kit don't work so I'm installing a new one

I bought 2 of them and have used them for 4 months. They work great and the newer back paddles are much better than the ps4 version. No drift or anything issues yet and I use them everyday.

although your honesty in terms of waiting on buying a custom controller till the price drops is appreciated however there's a lot of false and misleading information...aimcontrollers got me a controller built and delivered in less than a week twice using the speedy aim option therefor it is faster (international shipping mind you)..also if you choose the standard dual sense controller colors it is much much cheaper than hex gaming since hex gaming starts at $249. when it comes to remapping the buttons its not something extra or better hex offer instead they just force you to get the more expensive option rather than a cost saving pre mapped option or a remappable option! aim offers 4 back buttons instead of 2 so i dont see why hex gaming controllers would be worth it tbh especially since we all know how much the actual parts cost to make one! normally it would be fine to gas up a product for a paid promotional review however to do so while slamming another brand with false unresearched information isn't a nice thing to do at all (note: i bought the aimcontroller about 2 months ago and just got another 1 after watching this video just to check if the info here is correct and its very clear how misleading it is!)

When I made this video the wait times were 8-10 weeks with Aim. You have to keep in mind the date of publishing this video. At the time I made it, Aim had extended wait times. I hate how comments like this take and make a ton of assumptions, I wasn't slamming any other manufacturers. I appreciate the comment, but you're assuming a lot. 👍

@@TomasVillegas there is no assumption, the dates you mentioned are correct however without the speedy aim as its a 2-3 day build with the option no matter the circumstances (it was 7 weeks without when i placed the first order). However this is just one part of the misleading information in the video, the rest was not addressed. Again no issues with a paid promotion or a sponsored review but when it mentions a competitors product then the information should be researched properly. These things are not cheap and a youtuber with your viewership would certainly influence a buyers decision. Its not assuming since the points mentioned in the previous comment were a direct response to the content of your video and may be helpful if any viewer happens to stumble upon it.

HexGaming is a joke they ask 250$(without any customization just backpdalsa added) for a controller with back pedals identical to the ExtremeRate kit that sales for 39$ and the cost of dualsense is 69$ so do your math(given prices are standard without any discounts)

Sure once they open up other customizations, however as I stated I built 2 controllers from different vendors for 60 dollars less than it would cost me to get 1 from hex built the same way. In fact, if all I did was get digital triggers and remappable buttons I’d spend 100 dollars more on hex than on battle beaver. I’m sure the controllers are great but at that price point I can’t justify them over cinch or battle beaver.

My initial comment was directed at the people making this product. I am not upset in any way because i have never bought their controller and they will never get my money because it is way to overpriced and people should stop supporting them. With that money you could buy a series S console. Hope this cleared out things for you.
