Love Mr bean, he was an absolute delight, being a young kid at the time I'd get home from school and watch his show. The dance always got me rolling around on the floor laughing my ass off. Great man Rowan Atkinson.

I hadn't realised Rowan and Angus had toured Australia. In 1987 Blackadder would have been at its peak and its so old Mr Bean and One Foot In The Grave hadn't even been developed for a few more years!

That "I Believe" song was repurposed from one they did on Not the Nine O Clock News which had different lyrics but was still sung in the style of American yokels. Im surprised Rowan wasnt given a bigger introduction considering by that stage theyd done at least two series of Blackadder if not the third and he'd been in the unofficial Bond film Never Say Never Again with Sean Connery. But despite all that Angus was given a bigger intro referring to an act he was in I havent even seen. Very odd.

The "I Believe" song closed an episode of "Not the Nine O'Clock News" and ended with the line, "But I can't believe Ronald Reagan is president." As a final joke, following the last line of the song, the credits begin to roll and Pamela Stephenson, Rowan Atkinson, Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones continue whistling the song tune, becoming more bored, tired and agitated, until the final credit.

@@maifantasia3650 That was it yeah, been a long time since I've seen it, I just remember they were dressed as cowboys doing it country style, they always closed the show with a song. They still had the Reagan reference but being in Australia they obviously adapted it for our audience. I'm not sure if NTNOCN ever screened here because I was a baby at the time. The audience certainly didn't laugh much but I've seen that happen before. I'm embarrassed to be Australian sometimes, great British comics come out here and can play to absolute silence, I remember Alexi Sayle did, he was really political and social but it went right over the audience's head. They were just too dumb for his level of wit.
