I mowed my lawns Monday as it was so mild, and then whacked a granular winter feed on yesterday. 24 hours of rain later, I'm very happy that I've given it some love and attention. Happy Christmas Shaun!

I've only really used hurrells shaded seed.. Think it's called hm5 but there at loads more.. Boston seeds for example, A1 lawn.. Usually it'll have some fescue in the mix

I read here and there that iron sulfate can be applied in spring and autumn. You also use it in winter. Does it still work well then? And isn’t ammonium sulfate a better product for this purpose?

Hi you can use it all year round but you definitely don't wnat to over do it.. So I'd use it mainly in winter and for the dd green up rest of the year
