This fits Blitz's mindset so well. He's been through so many relationships and believed that he'd never find love (I blame his father for that!). Then, Stolas did something that Blitz thought he'd never see. Someone who just doesn't say "I love you", their actions back them up in the worst way possible. In Sinsmas, he even felt so bad about coming between Stolas and Octavia. I'm sure that's going to stick like that for season 3 and I'm glad of the direction they're going for.

Blitz and Stolas may have a complicated relationship in the beginning and we thought it would be toxic ever since Full Moon and Apology Tour, but at least they care for each other in the end. We just wish Stolas admits what he did is wrong.

0:12 Absolutley not, Stolitz shouldn't have been canon.😑It's toxic and manipulative. Blitz has his f**ked up moments, but he's a saint compared to Stolas. Stolas only cares more about his horniess and beef with Stella and Andrealphus more than his daughter along with making her believe that he hates Stella more than her and made her believe that she's the cause of his issues. And dw, Paimon, Stella, and Andrelphus aren't innocent either bc they care more about their status, feud, and their bullsh** legacy more than Octavia at all. Fizzmodeus is MUCH more healthier and the Fizzmodeus kiss is much more satisfying and more wholesome than the Stolitz kiss. But if anyine likes Stolitz, iryo.

You're literally ignoring half the narrative. It's responses like this that makes me wonder if you purposely ignored the part of the narrative that doesn't serve your bias. Blitz blows up his relationships on purpose and has emotionally damaged dozens of people on purpose due to his attachment issues. He sexually harasses Moxxie on multiple occaions and has openly admitted to spying on them while they're having sex. When he broke up with Verosika he stole her credit cards and her care, drove to wrath and maxed them for riding lessons. He also works to kill people for the petty revenge of the sinners who come down, and if you want to use that as an excuse from them being from hell, then you've got to allow other things to fly because 'they're in hell.' So on Stolas' side of things we've been given so much context that I'm just like...in awe that this is so one sided and fully blaming him. So here's what we know on his situation from what the show tells us and I'm going to start if from chronological order of his childhood up. Has his birthday learns he's going to be forced ot marry a girl that before he's even met her, is shown to be hot tempered and violent. I hope you'd cry too if you found out you were being forced to marry someone that's literally strangling a puppy in the picture you're shown. He has an instant crush on Blitz, which even though at that juncture Blitz was pressured by his dad, robbed Stolas blind. Years later we find that Stella is just as awful as he assumed. She doesn't seem to be as openly abusive to him before the cheating, but we already know from context she has a violent streak, and she's actively and cruelly emasculinating him among his peers and throwing a 'not divorced' party. From this as well as at the end of the Circus episode where he stops her from hitting him that at the MINIMUM Stella Was mentally and Emotionally abusing Stolas after the wedding (possibly even physically as suggested through the strangled puppy picture and him catching her slap as if it had happened ot him multiple times) and mocking him openly to where his already social ineptness kept him ostracized because she's controlling the narrative and making him look bad even though he hasn't done anything to hurt her by that point. Blitz shows up in his life AGAIN to rob him, but accidentally makes Stolas believe there is mutual attraction. Stolas gives him the book, and yes, his timing of offering the exchange is awful but the gag showing he's still going on about it even when Blitz isn't there suggests that it was more of the flaw he displays where he is extremely situationally unaware. I don't think he was USING Blitz' duress to make him agree to the exchange, and as Mastermind also proved, Stolas was putting his neck on the line for allowing its use. Blitz could have said no, and Stolas probably wouldn't have demanded it if he'd said no, just been disappointed. Of course Blitz probably thought that if he disagreed he'd lose access to the book but maybe not plan your entire business model to depend on stealing an item from a Goetia. He also could have said something beforehand after the agreement was made if he really wasn't willing to agree to the terms. Nothing stopped him from that. If we're going to get mad at Stolas for the deal, then shouldn't we also be mad at Blitz for the way he treated all his Exes in stringing them along and purposely screwing them over? From this point Stolas' biggest sin is cheating on his wife, which yes, is a BIG sin. He not only committed adultry, but Octavia has suffered from it. He's also wrong for the deal, but after that? He's done the best he could. He's not sorry for Cheating on Stella because she's abused him for their entire marriage, and he even says he'd feel bad if he hurt her but they both know that he didn't do that. That he only put up with her constant insults and cruelty so he could try to give Via a normal life and that he tried very hard for many years to make it comfortable but nothing he could do pleased her. So after all that time of being abused by his wife, he's less than repentant. He's not unaffected by Via's upset, but like a GOOD parent he doesn't use blaming language against Stella when he gets a chance in Loo Loo land. He's not willing to pit his daughter against her and put her in the middle. Yes, crappy of him to bring his side piece on a Daddy Daughter date but it's pretty clear he's still trying to give her love and attention and that he's not trying to make her pick a side. He knows that he can't defend what he did wrong, but he won't blame Stella for it either. Not in front of Via. He's still trying to keep her out of his mess. He thinks that Blitz okay with the arrangement for the book and has deluded himself into believing that Blitz likes him too until Ozzies. The moment he realizes that Blitz thinks the only reason he wants him is for sex he pivots HARD. He finds a way to release Blitz from the arrangement no strings attached, and wants to make it up to him and prove that its more to him. He at no point has TRIED to manipulate Blitz. But Blitz has on multiple occasions manipulated him. Whether through coming on to him on the night he cheated on Stella and agressively pressing him so he could steal the book when he tried to back off when his off hand flirt was aggressively fed into. As far as Octavia's situation, her feelings are valid but they're also misguided. These are conclusions that SHE came to rather than the actual facts. Stolas NEVER tried to imply that Octavia was the reason she needed anti-depressants. His mistakes with Octavia was not giving her at least a neutral perspective of where he was. He didn't accuse Stella for being the reason he cheated, he tried to explain himself but found he couldn't do so unless he blamed Stella, which would have made him a toxic parent pitting his child against her mother whether or not she deserved it. Seeing stars is Largely Octavia's fault. She approached him in the middle of a very stress filled conversation with the woman he'd just kicked out of his life. Even then he spoke very gently to her and asked for her not to discuss something else when he could not give her his focus. If Via had waited for him to get off the phone, I guarantee you Stolas would have responded the same way and dropped everything and they would have seen that Meteor shower, but because of the way she was feeling and the way she responded, he wasn't given the opportunity for that or the grace to approach the situation when someone else wasn't screeching in his ear. Stolas was willing to lay down his life for Blitz not because of 'horniness' but because of love and his own responsibility for the situation. He knew lending out the book was dangerous, so he made sure he would be the one that takes the fall because the book was ultimately his responsibility and he wasn't going to let Blitz die for it. He did everything he could to reach out to Via after he had to race to save Blitz, and she only found his happy pills, he didn't show them to her. He tried to keep that side of himself private not to burden her but now Octavia knows that he spent all that time on anti-depressants and she doesn't feel like she knows him at all and feels a mixture of resentment and guilt that he suffered on so long because of her. Resentful because it led him to doing what he did, and bad because she loves her dad and the thought of his misery being because he was taking it all to shield her. At no point did Stolas INTENTIONALLY do any of that to Octavia, she was just the unfortunate innocent that got hurt and there would have been no scenario where Stolas could have escaped his terrible marriage without her getting hurt.

The toxic argument It is the most limited thing you can do when you look at characters, and ignore so much the conflict necessary to write a good romantic story, It's like you're watching everything with the superficiality with which anyone watch a reality show and not because of the exploration of characters, the development of these two characters and their evolution is absolutely linked to their relationship. Their relationship itself is almost another character. You are so in love with your own arguments that you don't even see what is happening in the story. The thing you wrote is a fanfic.
