I had a Muslim roommate in the hospital. He was a Pakistani Canadian guy with some heart issues. I had some tubes in my stomach one of them had to come out and having this done before it was really painful I was cursing so I told him he may want to leave. He stayed and was quietly singing a song in perfect tone Arabic (I thought it was a song) Asked him about it after, he said he was praying for me and it was not a song he was reciting the q’aran. No idea what he was saying but it was very peaceful I will never forget that. I had a very nice sleep and I snore worse than anyone the nurse told me I need to get it fixed because I stop breathing and stuff. I had to ask him if I snored and I didn’t we laughed about that for a while.

Muslims use their right hand for "Good" things (Eating, shaking hands etc..), but they use their left hand for "Bad" things (Wiping after going to the bathroom, taking out the trash, etc..). It's about giving each hand a role for something as it is respectful to shake someone's hand with a hand that you don't use to wipe yourself, and it's also more clean to not use that same hand to eat. (If it doesn't make sense, imagine you lived over 1400 years ago when they didn't have soap)

@@yehman8945 it's to do with cleanliness, even if you are left handed we are taught to eat, drink and shake hands with the right hand, main reason for this is because after you do a number 2 we wash our backsides with water as well as using toilet paper, so if you use your left hand to wash your backside you should not use it to eat, drink and shake hands, also majority of people are right handed so when meeting, greeting and welcoming people by shaking hands you will stick out your right hand naturally
