Third point is that if I leave the trial alone it could gain views but only after a few days but unless I post it to main it never blows up yet posting to main directly without trial seems to bring drastically random results

Post some of your content not to your grid. Also, log out and reinstall the app. Works in 3% of the cases

Personally I post 3 reels a day + 1 to 3 carousels per week. I started 21st November 2024 and it took me one week to get one follower. I have a method of reposting ‘old content’ (which I call recycling) every 3 weeks or a month after and I’ve noticed that sometimes, you don’t make views on a specific type of content just because you weren’t lucky enough with the algorithm and then you post it again and again the algorithm warms up to it and you make great views. What I’m trying to say is, a week ago I reposted one of my old content with another version of the same song. It did alright for the first 3/4 days and since Tuesday I have been doing MASSIVE amounts of views with that reel. I’m actually at 310k views and, from what I’ve calculated, I make roughly 12k views per hour and it is exponential. I’m only a small account who had 121 followers Tuesday and who now has 266, and it keeps growing. So basically, what I’m trying to say is : post, and post a lot. 3 reels a day is manageable to make if it’s not great art (funny stuff don’t need to be Da Vinci worthy etc). That’s what worked for me, at least.

It doesn't if your content goes to none followers. This Trial reel feature achieves this and the more around the world you attract the better. I am now getting at least 400 followers a day and follow back 0 at the mo and just following 400

No you can set it to post when enough numbers. If it has nothing then it stays and you know it's a fail

Second point is that most of the views I'm getting when I post from trial to main are from Facebook. Have you any idea why some reels get shown on FB but others don't? These could be similar in every way but just don't hit FB at all. I get views over 500k and 10k likes when it hits FB but far less when one does not 🤪

I’m on Day Three of reposting my highest performing Reels: 60-100K views each and high follows from the *initial* post. So far, the Trial post has resulted in a mere 100ish views each and ZERO new followers. 🤷🏼‍♀️
