I just graduated High School (thank gOD), and the dumbest rumor about me was that I smoke weed! My school did random drug tests, and they searched my purse and found pain killers-mostly for cramps and headaches-that I forgot to take out. You're not supposed to have unregistered medication on campus. The school resource officer asked me, "Do you do cocaine? Marijuana? Methamphetamine?" I've never even SEEN any of those up close!! I was scared and embarrassed. I asked my principal if I was going to be expelled and he said "Let's hope not." 😒 Shortly after, I was called out of class for something completely unrelated, and a guy in my class insinuated that I had weed in my purse and that's why I was pulled out of class. For days people came up to me and ask if it was true, even underclassmen I'd never seen before! Apparently it gave me "cred". 🙄 I thought it was both hilarious and frustrating.

The worst rumour that was started about me was at work. I come from a culture where we don't really have relationships before marriage so if a guy wanted to marry you especially at work they would check with their friends to speak to you and see if you're interested etc. You're reputation is also important, anyways this guy had seen me around work and he worked in the second company site and he was higher management. I heard from my friend he was asking about me etc and he had a friend who was distant female family friend. So apparently she told him oh I asked around and they told me that she was engaged (in our culture you have 2 steps to engagement first is the asking for your hand then you sign the wedding contract and you plan for the wedding get to know each other date etc) so apparently I had been engaged 2nd stage so practically married and I had gotten divorced. And she told my friend (who is from another nationality) "this is our culture you know it's pretty bad"

Apparently he took her word for it without actually checking outside of work. Because when someone wants to get married the family would ask about the other person (girl or guy) to find out about the family, that person and their reputation etc. And when my friend asked her who had given her this information because I had never been engaged she said oh some girls I asked in the company I don't want to give you their names. My theory was she might have been interested in him and made up a rumour about me. The people in the other company premises probably all think this about me. I was like "girl! Can you ask her if I have children I don't know about? Because she knows me more than I know about myself!"

I was always with her or on my way to her and vise versa but I the boys in our neighborhood swore we were lesbians cause we just wouldn't mess with the boys n our neighborhood. then at a very young age I fell in love, got engaged at 16,got pregnant at 16, got married at 17. the rumors were growing dumber by the minute. tee and I both ended up pregnant a few months apart, thats when the rumor became she and I got each other pregnant because we were hemorphadites. I'm sure I spelled that wrong. I got married and my husband would come get me from school and they still couldn't except they were wrong. they swore he was my brother and not my husband. yelp. just like that. I hated high school.

Preach gurl I'm going to year 9 in September (I'm from Britain so idk if thats a different year anywhere else but I turn 14 in year 9 and we also call it years) but when I started skl in yr 7 I was the only one that came from my primary (this is what other peope call middle school I think) but if we didn't have this summer camp at my skl I guarantee u I would have no freinds. I was shy and kept to myself. Boys called me posh and it's only now at the end of yr 8 that I'm coming out and being myself. When I started skl I started hanging out with the "popular girls" but I wasnt like happy and friends with them just hung around. I aslo did alot of things I'm not proud of such as swearing cuz that's what I thought I needed to do to fit in. I remember 2 years ago when this girl who was my best friend at the time(not anymore hell no) came out to me as bisexual.
