15:30 That 3rd story when they ditched that girl was funny af 😂😂😂
@lalaforuuu7 ай бұрын
I've had a stalking horror story of my own while working at the grocery store. I had just gone on my lunch break. I purchased some sushi and noticed another guy in the break room eating as well. We'll call him M. He was eating his sushi in a strange manner, and everyone was warmly teasing him. I had joined in too. He was okay with the banter and even laughed about it with all of us. I'm too nice for my own good, so we ended up striking a conversation. Mind you, I was 20 at the time and this guy was around 16. So already, I felt strange making friends with a minor who was much younger than me. Still, he was new and I wanted to be nice. Fast forward the next day and I'm on break when he shorty follows after. He sat down at the table I was at and began talking to me. Again, as I'm too nice for my own good, we chatted the entire time. I was worried he might start to get the wrong idea about my friendliness and intentions. I was sadly right. Every time I went on break the weeks following, M would always follow and purposefully sit with me. I'd catch him scanning around to see if I was nearby before he'd ask a manager for lunch. The conversations were friendly enough at first, but they soon escalated. He would ask me very inappropriate questions about my body and other things as well. I was growing uncomfortable with this and consistently brought up my fiancé in conversation, hoping he would get the hint that I am not looking to mingle. He didn't. I understand quirkiness, but this was borderline obsessive and freakish. Anywhere I went, M was there. Mind you, we were in different departments, and this guy would purposefully leave the register during his shift to come by and talk to me where I was stationed. My coworkers even began to notice and would joke about it, despite my discomfort. I would actually go out of my way to not be seen by him as I went on my breaks, running to my car as fast as I could. I had never felt so much fear because of a person, let alone a teenager. One day as I was leaving from my shift, M was sat by the entrance of the store. He stopped me and flashed his phone in my face. I knew what he wanted, yet I intentionally acted unknowing. "What do you want me to do?" M then points to the phone dial and insists I give him my number. I politely decline, as I'm not only engaged to someone, but I'm an adult as well. I do not want to give my phone number to a minor who clearly wants to pursue a relationship with an adult. M would not take no for an answer. He would not let me leave. By the grace of God, one of my other coworkers walked by and I left by their side. This coworker of mine was in his 70s and I viewed him as a work father-figure, so I told him about what was going on. He suggests I go to HR about it, and I did just that. Though, as HR is known to be, they didn’t give a shit about my claims and said I was "being too inviting." Alas, HR said they would talk to him and give him a warning. A few days go by and I'm having no issue. At one point, I was pulled into a room with HR and they proceed to tell me that M denied knowing me and asking for my number. Now, I'm genuinely concerned. Why would someone go out of their way to lie and deny about knowing someone, especially if they made said person uncomfortable? I walk back to my station and tell my coworkers about it. As soon as I'm behind the counter, M walks up and proceeds to act all friendly and try to talk to me, as if nothing had ever happened. That's when one of my coworkers shouts, "get the fuck out here and leave her alone! You know you aren't supposed to be talking to her!" M's face drops and turns into anger as he walks away. My heart sank to the bottom of my stomach. I’ve never seen a person’s entire body language switch so fast in my life. From what appeared to be a façade happiness to then pure rage. I no longer felt safe at this job, and after my shift that day, I quit and never went back. I'm very thankful of my coworkers who did everything to protect me, though I never felt comfortable enough at the time to go back and thank them. I haven't seen M when I've gone to the store since, and I hope to never see him again.

Hearing all these people just give up personal info to CLEARLY creepy strangers is astonishing. Do parents not teach kids “stranger, danger” anymore?

People, no matter how old you are, you need to grow a spine. If someone asks personal questions including when you get off work, just tell them you don't give your information to strangers. And if they ask again, tell them in a forceful way, "What did I just tell you!?" Parents need to teach your kids this instead of teaching them to be polite!

do you know how many people do exactly this & still end up in a scary/ dangerous situations ? especially females , say no ta the wrong guy & here come weeks of harassment & law enforcement usually doesn’t do anything unless they physically hurt you & they never take stalking seriously unless it has become physical .
@Mischa21xo5 ай бұрын
Exactly why you are allowed a firearm to protect yourself. Nobody has a right to make your life a living hell and follow you around and physically harm you in any way. When you have a firearm, their harassment doesn't last too long, either because they chose to live, or cuz something really bad happened to them because they made a bad decision.

I’m a 23 5’4 female and I’m pretty confident and have no problem telling people that they’re making me uncomfortable I’m the type to lash out when I am as well. I had a man stalk me around the store around 12 in the morning one time even pulled up behind me in his car. He made it clear he was interested and wanted my number I repeatedly told him no and that I was not comfortable with his questions he began to get angry and began gas lighting me saying I was making to big of a deal. Thankfully when I had gotten bad vibes from him in the store I grabbed the knife I had in my car (it’s a safety knife that’s got a belt cutter and a glass breaker along with the 4 inch blade) I pulled the knife out and had 911 ready to be called and made myself clear by saying if he did not leave I would be calling the cops and that I was not afraid to use the knife thankfully he got the memo and left. It doesn’t matter how many times you tell a person no if they want something enough they will continue I don’t know what the guy was trying to pull theirs a lot more to the story that honestly makes it worse but I hate to think what would have happened if I didn’t have the knife on me.

Jesus talk about not having a spine! Some of these people are going to end up serious victims of serious crimes for the sake of being a people pleaser or nice to these weirdos!! She kept on because you didn’t tell her to fvck off and that was all the green light she needed to keep on with the shenanigans!!

The grocery store stalker stories always make me think of how my parents met! my dad was the assistant manager at liberty supermarket in B'ham Alabama it doesn't exist anymore so mentioning the name wont matter. anyway my mom was a customer who came in to cash her paycheck every week. she was 20 yrs old and had had a rough time of it the last couple of years, thats for another time, but he had a rough time to get her to relent to going on a date with him but she told me he would follow her around the store, he would peek at her around corners and follow her asking if she needed help and even if he wasn't working in the customer service area where they cashed checks he'd come up and take over so he could cash her check and that eventually is where he asked her out. idk what he said but he wore her down and she said yes. 11 months later they got married and 2 yrs later they had me!

Story 2 I'm also 5ft8 and solidly built but I'm still curvy but I have long but strong legs and my fight or flight depends on the situation. I also have a no verbal volume control and I'm very talkative and I have hearing issues so I can't whisper softly. If I'm ever alone and I'm being harassed, I have the capability of raising my voice extremely loudly. I don't like being confrontational but I will be if I feel threatened Whenever I go out, I always go with my boyfriend. He's 6ft4 and gyms daily so he's quite chisled especially his arms. He might appear intimidating but he's actually a softie and even though he can also be loud, he hates confrontation. People never mess with me because he's very well known and respected where we stay

Story 3: Okay, why did his girlfriend ask the stalker to hang out with them and he said nothing? Then the girlfriend was okay with the stalker going home with him? And then he becomes the stalker by knowing she is with a 50 year old man. And who gives a 💩 if he’s 50 and she’s 24, she’s still a grown woman that he appears to be stalking on Facebook. I think he enjoyed being stalked, and enjoyed the attention, that’s why he has become the stalker.
