I have been the same way about luxury purchases recently! I’ve always been a saver, but this year really made me realize how unnecessary some of my luxury purchases were. I don’t regret any of them, but I think I need to be more selective moving forward and make sure that what I am purchasing is truly bringing value to me. Anyways, I’m excited to see how this journey of no luxury purchases goes for you!!

Finally!!! Someone who is actually sensible enough to realise how the current crisis is affecting everyone psychologically and financially, and who is sensitive enough to make others aware that now is not a good time to flaunt luxury hauls, and authentic enough to share about her decision to pause on luxury spending. Don't get me wrong, I love fashion and luxury items but I'm really turned off with a lot of fashion vloggers and influencers for their seemingly lack of awareness and sensitivity to the current economic situation of a lot of people. While some might still look forward to their vlogs about luxury items at a time like this (those still in quarantine), I think this could be a great time and opportunity to set an example and encourage followers instead to practice slow and conscious fashion, choose thrifting, and even re-inventing one's style by 'shopping your own closet.' P.S. I love your makeup in this video! Perhaps a video on how you did your makeup here and styling videos (e.g. what you'd wear with your gorgeous red vintage Chanel flap bag)?
