Hezbollah Launches Explosive-Laden Drone Attacks on Northern Israel | Vantage with Palki Sharma
Hezbollah, the Iran-backed militant outfit based in Lebanon, has said that it launched an explosive-laden drone attack on Northern Israel today (May 7, 2023). This is the latest in a round of continuous attacks that the militant group has launched towards Israel since late 2023. Yesterday, another Hezbollah attack had claimed the lives of two Israeli soldiers. Tensions between Hezbollah and Israel have escalated since the Israel-Hamas war broke out in Gaza in October last year. Meanwhile, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected a potential ceasefire deal in Gaza with Hamas, vowing to "destroy" the Palestinian group. As the world awaits Israel's next move in the war in West Asia, Hezbollah's attacks on the country are intensifying.

I know and believe Palestinians will be free and independent before 2060 but there is so much loss, suffering, loss of life. Hammas and Hezbollah have really made it hard for people from outside Palestinians to give support. Look for example, college demonstration around the world, whom are those students supporting, Hammas or Palestinians? We know it is Palestinians but authorities in those countries can say, they are supporting Hammas as an excuse to suppress genuine grievance. Palestinians have no other authority to represent them except Hammas, a group that has civilian hostages. From where I stand, it is a dilemma for I support Palestinians freedom but not Hammas. Hammas should just resign and let Palestinians be.
