HF8 Haptic pad Unbox and test on AMS2

Hello!
Today I received the NEXT LEVEL RACING HF8 Haptic pad.
It is a game changer when it comes to immersion.
In this video I will unbox it and test it on my rig and AMS2.

I enjoy mine 10/10 Bought for 50$ brand new Worth it if it’s on sale! If I paid retail it’s really underwhelming (depending on game) Comfort wise ? I feel like if I had Velcro I could keep it from sliding around but I have to keep making adjustments whenever I leave my seat. I never actually notice the motors when sitting.

I had it, and its fun, brilliant in VR, but absolutely ruins comfort. Had to get rid and put bass shakers on instead. Much better, and not much more expensive. If they made it comfortable it would be perfect.

I have not spent too much time on it yet but so far I was fine with comfort. I did hear the bass shakers are a bit better but cost around 500 cad. I just need to figure out the setup for in-game a bit better, o just set everything to on but I'm sure that's wrong 😂

@@scottthebulletthe key is to use sim hub and not the NLR software, and only set a few things I have rpm with a curve set on the back at about 60% and gear changes on the back at 100%, then I have road rumble and effects set to the bottom FL RL for effects on the left and the bottom FR RR for effects on the right

@@scottthebullet I had mine about a year, and enjoyed it most of the time, but without harping on about it, I really missed the comfort. If you're okay with it that's great mate. I have a play seat trophy and it honestly makes it more comfortable. Especially brilliant with true force Logitech pro

This is awesome 👏. Question.. does the feedback actually help improve driving performance, like give you additional sense of when your losing grip or shifts in balance of the car that you can react to?

I don't it gives a lot of detail. And now I installed simhub so it's even more detailed. Like I can feel gears shift too. As to improving performance I'm not too sure, possibly though, more detail might make you react better

Use the hf8 with sim hub it has more tuning and can utilize the seat better than the company program.
