This is one of those moments where I wish Horizon Forbidden west had more cinematic scenes...if you move right, you can avoid the tide ripper spotting you entirely. The moment is still tense, but it would have been interesting to have to escape a chase as you open the door. High action, to stealth until the pay off is the fight. Tide ripper was fun though, no complaints for the fight.

KAPPA is my favourite Cauldron of the bunch. The buildup to this bossfight is awesome, especially with the music is crazy, I miss this version, dunno if it’s in the OST.

I was stuck in Kappa with two freeze bombs and 8 freeze arrows. This Tideripper was not easily brought down. 6 Bajillion Health boosts and 1 hour 24 minutes later, it was finally downed. The rage and victory I felt at the same time is something I will never forget.

I really like the focus on the synths over the strings. It makes the theme edgier than the music in the OST.
