First story sounds like 48-60 hours of digging into a defensive trench line with no sleep. So pretty average for the infantry.

Using wife's phone today not her opinions I just had to say so true when I was in the infantry long ago we were at the beginning of the new battle concepts high mobility,rear area battle,small fast high mobility so staying static was going to in the past we still had e-tools ,bayonets and all of us trained in fighting positions, range cards ,pre plotting artillery no GPS yet and gone were out bayonets and e-tools digging in will be no more. Now in Ukraine they are digging in they are back to WW1 trench warfare and need bayonets and to dig in fast and deep range cards ,pre plotted artillery drones negated fast high mobility Infantry and Cav probes and breakthroughs back to the basics they even have fielded Maxim machine guns

So wheelbarrow When was the wheelbarrow first invented? The common wheelbarrow has far flung and exotic roots, as it can be traced back to third century ancient Asia. In 231 A.D, Zhuge Liang of Shu Han in China created a single wheel cart for an efficient way of transporting food and supplies to the front lines of battle. Based on Chen shou ancient historian. Edit: lengthy discussion in comments, editing for clarity on source, Khuge Liang was credited to the invention of the wheelbarrow. History is written by historians, evidence is available that it pre existed his accounts, I dont validate nor invalidate history, draw your own conclusions

Even earlier than that. Emperor Hui's tomb during the Han dynasty depicted wheelbarrows pushed by men on the murals, and they date back as far as 118 AD.

...............................dang, man. There's a reason why our bodies have 'limits' locked into them, both in working and fighting/surviving. And yes, pretty sure that kind of lack of sleep and work exhaustion feels like being 'high', as you're doing something very similar to your body that the drugs do chemically.
@soffren Жыл бұрын
As someone who has pulled all nighters for work, and "experimented" in the past, I can confirm. Sleep deprivation mixed with exhaustion and dehydration feels like a mix between Alcohol and Xanax (which can kill you if you mix them irl, much like a lack of sleep mixed with dehydration).
