HG Burglarydog Review

Review of the HG Burglarydog from the votoms line. technically the 2nd hg votoms kit(excluding the past 1/20 scale ver) to be released from bandai. Still retains the previous hg scopedog build but has some minor changes for the new equipment. The lower body has ports for the wasit area weapons, and the leg/feet have new equipment for more various terrain. The backpack is tricky to attach and does needs to be treated carefully due to its perfect fit. Overall the equipment does make the kit trickier to handle since they get in the way. But the kit comes with some interesting leftover parts that could be useful for customization for the hg scopedog.

I have the WAVE version of this, and I was considering picking one of these up if I hadn't noticed the P-Bandai reprint of the 1/20 Scopedog series (the Turbo Custom this time!). Can't wait to hear what you have to say about this.

well i tried the 1/20 scale brutishdog and the scopedog berkoff squad ver. despite its age, it still holds up very well. pretty much an mg kit for votoms. didnt know they were considered pbandai

@@marasai426 As far as I can tell, the Turbo Custom is one of the P-Bandai variations of the normal 1/20 Scopedog releases (Leeman's custom Scopedog is also a P-Bandai one). And yeah, your reviews of the Berkoff and Brutishdog helped me decide to get the Turbo Custom re-release. Looks to be a really nice kit! Interesting changes with the Burglarydog, but I can't help but feel like it came out worse than the regular HG Scopedog out of the box... I guess I'll keep my Wave kit as my only Burglarydog for now. It's been a while since I watched Brilliantly Shining Heresy but IIRC the sleds on the feet are for better traversal in sandy desert terrain. Good review as always, and thanks for responding!

Bandai already had a 1/20 scale version of the Scope Dog which is the size and has the detail associated with a MG. Bandai would need to make a 1/20 scale accessory kit to convert that old kit to a Bulgary Dog.
