rising freedom is less a successor to the freedom and much more a prototype of the mass produced freedom. which, technically was planned by zaft in seed destiny, before lacus stole the SF/ooj blueprints and erased them from their databanks.

I really like this new type of hip connection, being able to drop down each leg separately is a great feature. Hope they keep it around for future kits.

I've built this kit and I loved it. Was really impressed with the construction of the chest and the lack of stickers. Felt like some RG influence coming into the HG line which is nice.

The HG ♾️ Justice is really good and I really recommend it. Its biggest issue tho is because it having the silver frame the plastic for the joints can be a bit fragile

If you omit the stickers on the beam rifles of both Rising Freedom and Immortal Justice, they will be exactly identical. You can paint the trims later.

That nose cone bit reminds me of one of the F90's mission packs that was basically a large nosecone with a booster attached behind the MS.

i think it looks bad as it is... BUT i do think you could probably remove it, and mod it into the shield. giving it a bit more personality, specially if you dont plan on using its "flying" mode.

There's a gimmick for you to rotate the part on the inside of the shield to spin out the side wings on the shield

I just think that the shoulders on MA mode looked silly and I wish it was pointed upwards towards the nose (kinda like Kyrios/Arios) Also, I saw Hobby no Toriko kitbashed this with Savior and it looked so good

I like everything about this design except the spike at the crotch. If I ever pick it up I'm leaving that out and finding a way to cover the gap.

you could do a few things. that's the beauty of gunpla. you could cut the spike a bit, or cut the stick from it and incert it into the hole, to give the impression of it being a gray bit. if i ever get either gunpla, i plan on not using the cone on the back, and instead modding it into the shield, so it looks more like the traditional transforming suit shield. which is funny because i also dont plan on actually transforming it either.

about the nose cone, i think its because the round shape just completely clashes with the rest of the kit. had it be sharper and longer it would look much better. the side skirts just feel cheap compared to what we had on the infinite justice. another aspect that i dislike about the immortal justice is the bends in the legs. and again infinite justice has much better looking legs

Kinda sad with this final design for this kit. It, doesn't have kind of attention as Rising Freedom had. Like they had same rifle, then why it has different shield. i mean why??? Look at Freedom and Justice with similiar equipment (can called almost identical) but RFreedom have more equipment than Immortal Justice. Also no option hand, really??? Take the shield for example, RFreedom have more "melee type" weapon than Justice. feels like just after thought MS design, unlike Rising Freedom.😂

Im glad i got into gundam kits around 6 months ago. Ive already decided hg just isnt my thing. The hands, the stickers just are blah. Some however are great, typically if it doesnt come in mg/rg ill get an hg. Things like the pink dilanza or darilbalde are sick. I guess not all hg are bad, ill see my self out!!

Could I ask what in specific? Giant robots as a whole are inherently kind of ridiculous -- no way you'd design a weapon like that without some insane technological breakthroughs that the Gundam settings definitely don't have -- but the Seed stuff doesn't really stand out in relation to UC or other AUs. If anything it's one of the *more* grounded ones : very little weird gimmicks and psychic weapons like later UC, not overly committed to specific niches like Wing, no mysterious superweapons like 00, and I don't even want to get into whatever the hell was going with most of Age.

I love the sleekness and angles on this compared to the Rising Freedom which looks a bit too chunky for my tastes
