Well, he is confident in his combat capabilities until he's utterly humiliated. Apparent can also mean "seeming real or true, but not necessarily so", which fits the bill

Do you have an MG Dynames? Are you planning to review the 3rd party RIII expansion kit? If so, I recommend you getting the Susan Model release over the SJL one. The SM release has an extra set of the GN shields and bazooka, and it covers up a couple areas that would otherwise be hollow in the SJL one. But the downside to SM is that it doesn't come with that signature GN connector/adapter to stabilize the bazookas on the arms while equipped, and the instructions are rather confusing when assembling the front skirt boosters, which might mistakenly lead you to snip off a bit of a piece into order to put it together. Also, since the MG Virtue shares much of the inner frame with the Dynames, I suspect the Nadleeh would be compatible with the RIII equipment too.

I don't have an MG Dynames, but I do have some distant plans to get one. Might take a look at the R3 conversion depending on how hard it is to get from the UK
