My father was deployed in the Middle East in the Late 80s and suffered severe mental illness from it that turned into Brain Cancer. I have also served during 9/11. You're right. So many have come home broken. But sometimes you have to fight for the sanctity of life to go on... Not for an early seat in the afterlife.

Why do we pray one way only for ourselves? We are humans and only the LORD knows who is innocent and who is guilty. We do not live with them and we only learn about the problems they have with each other for years from the media. We know that the media gives priority to those closest to it. If we believe in God, if we believe in GOD's justice and that He sees and hears everything, we need to protect all his good servants in the world and help them from the oppressors. We must pray that he will purify the world from evildoers. Because only God knows who is right and who is good, right? Isn't it selfish to say "be with my loved ones?" May GOD protect the good, the innocent and the loved ones at all times and in all places forever
